Report a phone call from 202-459-7122 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- LDI received a call today ID'd as 202-459-7122 from Wash DC. Once I heard a recording stating they could lower my credit card rates I knew it was bogus and hung up.
- Caller: Wash DC
- KarenNow, they've gotten sneakier. The caller ID now reads "Unavailable". Glad I checked on this site and got the info to file a report.
- nancypooboy these guys must be busy with all the pages of complaints on here--they just called me at 9:25am, I didn't recognize the number but they did leave a prerecorded message about lowering my interest rates--I don't have any interest rates to lower since we don't have any credit cards. Hopefully they won't call back.
- Caller: unknown name
- samI got a call from this number, when I answer they hung up!
- Gertrude LewisI'm getting calls from 202-459-7122. It is a recording that say's they want to lower your credit card debt. I no longer even have a credit card and am on the do not call list.
This is annoying at the least. I believe it to be a scam and am concerned for others. - BobIn regards to poster #1, are all black people exempt from being racist or something? Last I knew, any one of any color has the ability to be racist.
- AntiSpamOn call-back, you get the following recorded message:
"The subscriber you have dialed is not in service. Message DC-9-1-8-56"
I would encourage everyone to submit an on-line complaint with the FCC:

- carli let her talk to me for a few minutes. She called on Sunday morning at 8:03am. Told me she can lower my interest rate on my Visa if my balance was over $5,000. I said sure, "which credit card?" and the game began..."your Visa". "Which Visa?". After about four minutes I said thanks and what is the name of your company. She said it was Financial Advising Services (877) 283-8065 ext. 233.
Give her a call and ask her if she wants English lessons!- Caller: Financial Advising Services
- floridianSame story - "last chance to lower interest rate", press 1 to talk to an agent press 2 to stop getting calls. You get an agent no matter which one you press! Obviously a scam. Once your phone number's on one of these lists, you'll continue to get calls from scammers, phishers & debt collectors trying to get you to pay a debt you don't even owe. PLEASE take a minute & file your complaint with FTC.gov & DIRECT THEM TO THIS SITE TO READ ALL OF YOUR COMPLAINTS. The DNC registry can't help.
- Caller: No identification given
- Archi0left some message, didnt answer
- Keith BurwoodI get calls from this number several times a day. When I pickup, no one is there. Very annoying!!
- Sheila in NCreceived a call this morning [Thursday, September 24, 2009 @ 9:23AM] -- on my PRIVATE UNLISTED home number that is on the DO NOT CALL list.. when I answered I distinctly heard a switch to an automated woman's voice claiming that I need to speak to representative regarding my credit card.. they claimed that there were no problems but if I wanted to lower my interest rate and payments to press "1" to have no more calls from their company press "2".. I did press 2 and hang up.. HOWEVER they did not disclose who they represented.. and now I am very annoyed at this!
The name and number that showed up on my ID was::
Cell Phone, DC 202-459-7122- Caller: unknown
- NancyWhen I saw the phone number on my caller ID, I thought that it was somebody from DC. We were expecting a call from the VA office. I got the same thing... recording stating if I want to lower the interest on my credit card, uhh! which credit card, I smelled rat... "press 1 to speak with one of our representatives" the line went dead ---- WE AWARE OF THIS NUMBER
- Caller: UNKOWN NAME
- RobertThese are really scummy people and they keep calling despite pressing 2 to be removed, my number is on the do not call list and when you ask for the name of the business or a call back number they hang up. Are these really stupid employees of a scam company or people so desperate to earn a paycheck that they will stoop to the lowest level of humanity to do so. This is probably not the real number that they are calling from but I am going to make an online complaint report to the FTC and FCC anyway.
- Caller: Unknown
- Barbara in FLI also got this call and asked which CC. They said your Visa and mastercard. I asked which bank and the listed all of the prominent banks. BOA, Chase, etc. I told them I'v reported them to and the DC police and my cc companies.
- Leslie LothschuetzAnswering machine picked up a recorded message from Heather about lowering interest rates on credit card. Same garbled message . What card?
- McFraudThey are using fake Caller ID numbers. They are getting around the No Robo Call Law by calling from Canada. They aren't bound by the Robo Call or Do Not Call List Laws. The only defense is to waste their time. Give them false information and make them spend more than 2 minutes on the phone. They also are using fake area codes from Nebraska and California.
- Dale BI filed a complaint with the "Do-Not-Call Registry. Probably won't do any good, but at least I did my civic duty to get this to stop and maybe some one in Washington will fine them and put them out of business.
- JoseCaller's ID says it's from a cell phone. Tried to call me several times but when I called back a recording says number is no longer in service. Annoying when this person keeps calling!
- KevinJust got a call, and I've heard from them 4-5 times in the past as well. I've reported the number to the Do Not Call registry.
