I get calls from this number 202-459-7122 on my cell phone several times a month. Once I answered and asked how to stop this calls, they gave me a phone number that when I called was actually a porno phone site with very hard porno answering on the line.

rec'd mutiple calls from this # but work so never picked up but on caller id.

This used to be a cell phone number of ours. Some scumbags have been calling folks all around the country hiding behind our number. We had the number changed then the account terminated. We are as angry as all of you by all this. We reported this to FBI.

Called the second time today, same pitch everybody else reports. Have been on the do not call list since it started. Hung up the first time, listened to the whole thing today. Pressed "2" for the option to stop further calls. Then filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.

Just received a call from this number.  It was an automated line stating they could lower my credit card rate to 6.9%.  They didn't state which credit card so I did not continue with the call.  I am also on the do not call list.

prerecorded message regarding my charge cards...when i tried to return their call to ask to be taken off their list the recording said "the subscriber i have dialed is not in service".
i have had repeated calls and have reported them to the do call registry.  No results yet.

Received a voice mail message from this number.  I'm on the dnc list as well.

They called me yesterday and today.  I told them I am on the Do Not Call List, and to please not call me again. They hung up on me!  I am in my 70's.  These kind of calls are up- setting to me.  Yesterday I submitted a comment along with other unwanted numbers that call. My family is going to investigate and see what can be done.

I forgot to mention I know Senator Hatch.

Saw this number on my missed call list today. I, too, am on the Do Not Call list.  Guess this is random calling. Annoying.

I received a call from these guys, and they said they wanted to lower my credit card interest I said which one. They said Visa, and I persisted, but they wouldn't answer me. I would say it's a scam.

called saying he could lower my interest rate on master card, visa, etc, asked for my account number and when i refused he hung up.

Got the same call from 202-459-7122 saying I have to reply to get my interest rate lowered.
Complete b.s.

I let the answering machine take it like I do all calls from numbers that I do not know.

Just received a call from 202-459-7122, ID 2, no name, my answering machine picked up, it was a recording about the time expiring to lower my interest rate on my credit card. I do not carry balances, this is a scam and I am also on the State and National Do Not Call list!

Yesterday I got one on my cell phone from a LasVegas number - this is getting ridiculous!

I had a similar experience with the recording that indicates they're calling "about my credit card" and want to "lower my rate".

I hung up and called the number and a recording says, "The subscriber you have dialed is not in service."

I complained to the District of Columbia Public Service Commission (http://www.dcpsc.org/contactus/submitInfo.asp).  With 6 pages of comments on this site containing complaints from July 31 to today, it appears that reporting to the FCC DoNotCall complaint does no good.

Well, I went ahead and complained to FCC after all.  What the heck, it's only the umpteenth time I've reported one of these ya-hoos, but I don't have anything else to do.

When I answered they hung up.
