I had also received a call from these idiots. I played along, actually got a woman on the line with me, then said "yes, hang on, I'm getting my Visa out for you to help me". All the while, I was heading out to the garage, without her knowledge, to get my air horn. Once I started to give her random numbers, I knew I had her listening, so I blasted her ears with my air horn and told her to stop calling my number. Haven't been called since. Give it a try. These idiots will continue to call as long as you let them. Been all quiet since I have her a blast of the horn.

I didnt pick up as the area code was unfamiliar to me. I found out it was dc and I called back a recording said they were out of area,

Received two calls from this number this week the last one on Aug 21 at 3:59 P.M. I was not home and the caller did not leave a message.  The first call wanted to give me information on my credit card.  Since I do not have any credit card issues I just hung the phone up.  When I tried to return the call I receive the following message "the subscriber is not in service, if you feel you have reach this message in error hang up and try your call later. Message DC91856"

Received a  call from 011 20 24597122 on my cell phone. Caller immediately hung up. Put number on Google and came upon this web site.  Who is calling?

I received a call from this number. It now shows "" with the number on caller ID. The first thing said was, "This is in ref. to your credit card account;  don't be alarmed, your account is fine. This is to lower you interest rate on your current account." I hung up at that point, because I have received several calls just like this in the past. I, also, am on the 'Do Not Call' list.

I just submitted a comment and left out that the caller id now shows "Washington, DC"

Automated voice for "last chance to lower my interest rate on my credit card" Press "1" to connect to an operater. I pressed one and got someone with an accent. I asked if this was a phishing call and the lady hung up.

Recieved a call from 202-459-7122 - Washington, D.C., left a message on my answering maching in regards to lowering credit card rates, etc.  Funny thing is I have no credit cards....It's a scam.  I am also on the DNC list, but this doesn't stop them, they just keep calling.

Just called 9.15 AM.  They did not speak and did not hang up when I answered the phone.

Just found this page by googling the phone number.

Received a call from this number 202-459-7122 and name was unknown.  They left a message with answering service.  They said lower interest rates were available and this was the final notice, they did not refer to what intrest rate.  I have no credit card debt at all so very weird?  If they call again I will report to the FTC as I am on the DNC list.

Got a call from this number while out this morning. It did not have name on my caller id, it did say a Washington D.C. call. They left a message on my answering machine. They were not interested in my credit card but my mortgage. I tried to call the number back, it said that the number was not in service at this time. I called the phone company and had them check, it's a number that can only dial out and not recieve incoming calls. I also reported them to the do not call registry and asked for an update after they investigated.

This showed up on my caller ID 8/25/09 at 2:47 P.M. as unknown caller. I am on the DNC list. They did not leave a message and when I checked this number online this is the page I got.

Got a call from this number 202-459-7122.  ID said Wash DC Call.  Picked up and got no answer.  Will submit to do not call Registry complaint.

When I retrieved VM it was a cut off recording about lowering your interest rates.  Press 1 for live operator and Press 2 to be removed.
I pressed 2.  How much you want to bet it does not work!

This number showed up on my phone as Cell Phone DC. If you read the earlier posts this same number used to show up as Diane something or other. I find it odd that the same number needs to keep changing the name listed on the phone records.

The company call represents itself as Account Services.  I don't know who they really are or where they are located.  They ignore the national do not call list.  They hang up on you if you ask to be put on their do not call list or for their company name or address.  The caller ID info is fake, and they change it every couple of weeks. The call starts out with a robo caller saying "Hi this is Heather with Account Services.  Don’t be alarmed, there is nothing wrong with your account, but this might be your last chance to lower your interest rate on your credit card," and asks you to press 1 to speak with someone, 2 to let the offer expire.  Neither option will make them stop calling you.  From what I have read, this company's "services" amount nothing more than putting a very large charge on your credit card.  I have been receiving phone calls from these people for a couple of years.  I don't know why the FTC of FCC has not done anything about them yet, since they are breaking multiple laws.  I guess they just haven't pissed off a senator yet, like the car warranty scam companies did.
