Going on for months, help!

0012345678 and 2025808200 are numbers that displays on whe someone uses skypeout.

as simple as that

Seriously everyone, this number is used by Skype users who call outside numbers, it represents thousands of skype users thus cannot be traced back to any one person.

I believe this might be the same number I have been pranked with several times. Although comes up Unknown. I think it is a kid from Monson, MA. After reading several posts, and how the voice changes, I believe that could be who I am hunting. I know the kid's name.. Christopher McCray. Been harassed several times, boy/girl cpu automated voice. Acting like a school official, business official, and online.. Someone from the FBI/National Weather Service, and someone from Washington DC. I have threatened the person I would file charges. My friend was telling me today this number called and and said they were from the FBI of Washington, DC. Need for someone to track this person down.

These people are using skype

The weird thing is, the ones that are behind this, are probably laughing because they are getting exactly what they want.  Someone to "notice" them because they aren't smart enough to come out in the world to make a name for themselves.  They are immature regardless of their age and really need to grow up.  It is not scary, isn't even humorous.  It's lame.  So guys, if you read this, just remember, someone out there in your anonymous phone calls actually pities you for being so brainless and spineless.  Want to do something really worthwhile?  Next time, don't be so quick to hide behind skype or whatever you may be using.  That will really get you noticed! :)

The poster of "27 Jan 2008" is absolutely right on all counts.  Thank you for such a detailed note.  Reinforceing what they said, and others:
- prank calls can come from anywhere.  The 202-580-8200 is a catch-all for skype
- yes, blocking a caller-id to an 800 number doesn't work.  Little known is that fact that people who pay for an 800 number are "entitled" to get the number of the person calling.
- take threats seriously and take appropriate action
- for pranks.... sad to say, deal with there are "jerks" in this world.
- while it could be used by the mafia... most likely not.

This is a skype number, if someone is messing with you just have a laugh and play back with them.   Stop being such an Eyore.  TIGGERS FOREVER!! (FYI: no, i am not making the calls)

The number 202-580-8200 called my local pizza place and had pizza to my door. Needless to say, I was quite ticked off when A pizza shows up at my door two days in a row. After telling the pizza place to not accept orders for my address at that number, I find out that it was one of my friends. This number apparently shows up when some one using Skype calls.

I got a call from this number at 2:47pm.  Sounded like females in their late teens. They said nothing, just giggles, and hung up.

We've had over 150 calls from this number to our IVR in the last 4 hours.  I'm responsible for handling obscene/threatening/inappropriate calls to our call center.  The majority of the calls from this number are  crude, obscene calls, some are international.. We've added the number to our telecom switch to block all calls from entering our IVR.

Definitely fraud.  I am part of an investigation re; this fraud ring. They attempted to use my website to test stolen credit cards.

Some Alias names they use is:  Noor Alsaba and Zaini Al Aljeri

They even go so far as to provide a Kuwait phone number to call back -- then use voice synthesizers (or whatever) to make it sound like a middle east accent.  Idiots and rookies might I add...

Got an obscene call at work from a woman who spoke french.. I guess they're a team :-)

This person called our call center and got ahold of one of my agents and was continuously sweaing at him, saying that he was going to kill my agents family.  The he was going to kill babies.  This sounded like a recording from various movies or something because the responses from this guy didn't match up exactly with what my agent was asking him for.  He gave 3 warnings and hung up.

That 202 580 8200 is a skype number I believe because I called dominos and they said my number was 202 580 8200.

Early this am 202-580-8200 made several attempts to break into my phone system. They made several attempts to guess voice mail passwords. They may have just been a pranksters, but security at my office is taken seriously.

OK Skype, why haven't you tracked these people down?

That number came from Skype. If you dial an US toll free number via Skype then you'll see that number listed on your mobile screen.

My employer has been receiving many calls almost daily from this number. My staff is being constantly harassed by different recorded messages each time they call. Do not accept these calls and continue to fight terrorism anyway you can!
