Ok, lol I just signed up with skype and then called my house from my computer to see how it worked my DH said someones called from Washington DC from1-202-580-8200.

I said lol it's me pick up the phone well it was like a two way radio did not work well but ok thought I would add it to my web site to chat with customers while I was online. Not really sure now if I will so then I seen the number on my caller id and thought I would Google it and I found all you guys complaining about the number.

So now I no this is a skype number that shows up on caller id's when anyone calls from there computer using skype to a land line.

Called and asked for person in charge of advertising for our business. had normal accent, potential scam.

I had a call from this number on 01/26/2009. I work in a call center and the man called stating that our companies equipment had melted and he was trying to disconnect it and burned his hand....He was asking for information and wanted us to pay for the doctor bill. Finally after several minutes, the man told me he was calling from a radio station and I was on the air! He then ask for personal information so he could send me some tickets!

It was possibly a Skype Call - testing our 1-800- toll free number, called the toll free number from our PC using Skype and that was the number that displayed on our call display - 202-580-8200.

I got a call from this number. It sounded like they were on a cell phone which was cutting out terribly. Couldn't understand what they were saying.

just received a prank call from caller ID 202-580-8200 FROM A CHILD WHO ASKED STUPID QUESTIONS LIKE "I want to my the thing you roll aroubd on your desk to make the animals appear on your computer." My business makes keyboards and mice etc, had no idea  what this kid was talking about, when I questioned him/her for more details, the child hung up

9:52pm PT 1/28/2009; call came in to my cell in Southern California.  I didn't get to it and when I tried to call it back, it was a "fast busy".  No message left on the voice mail.

Called our family physician office rudely demanding a hammer from our non-existant hardware department.

The caller called here three times in the last ten minutes and I'm goddamn sick of it!

I use Skype for outgoing calls. The call display on the recipient's end is supposed to show my cellular #. I just had someone tell me my call showed up on their call display as being from 202-580-8200.

Weird.

I just checked to make sure my Skype account wasn't hacked and modified. It wasn't.

He uses soundboards of other victims when he calls you - commonly Frank Garret, and Tom from A&S roofing

I just received a call from 202-580-8759 who says he is from a loan modification company I have been working for but every bit of his conversation just sounds shaddy especially since I have spoken with the law firm several times. He then sent me a form to fill out which shows my social, other info but most fun it was a power of attorney to do anything he wants with my house loan, uh shaddy.  He said his name was Mike Meirs from Marc J Victor who is in AZ but he is in D.C.  I started surfing the net for his number and the site below showed up connected to foreign countries, uh scam!

Got obscene calls from a man with an accent 10 AM Saturday morning.  I hung up on him.  Repeated but I did not pick up.

We have currently had Kall8 customers getting spams calls from these skype numbers. Through kall8 blocking options they can no longer call your 800 number.

202 580 8200 does not work... HA
