He/she also tried to get me. I live in DFW, TX. Someone emailed me from craigs list and I responded. Then a different email address responded from my previous conversation. Kind of confusing but he/she wanted me to mail him what I was selling and then said he would mail a check. BS. Watch out for this guy/girl. I think he/she intercepted my email to the original customer, or maybe he/she was the original customer. I dont know. amcool19@googlemail.com> This is the address he/she emailed me from.

Got the same email message in Maryland.

We just received an email from "James" when our website (http://engineecology.com) was advertised in craigslist.

He's using the same format as Chuck received above, only now he has a "secretary".

When i called the number on my phone.. it showed up as a number from Texas. The phone has a busy tone when calling this number.

I gave him the local FBI office address and phone number.
I told him to send attention Seeley Booth (the agent from Bones.

Person attempted to scam me trying to buy my rims on craigslist from the boston area. Had a feeling it was a scam but thanks to everyone posting this, it helped me know for a fact not to give my information out.

We got the same emails as everyone else.

We had replied have your mover show up with cash and we have a deal.  We did not give out our address.

Could this email also contain some bot that uses your email to further the scam?

Same here in Houston.  The first email asked if the item was still available and I replied yes.  Then they replied back using email - pixelsonline@gmail.com with the name of Alex Barron

same B.S. here, just replied that the price just went up since i knew it was a scam... idiot........

I've had the same situation with 3 different names.  I even received a company check from "Aaron Equipment Company"  I called them and they told me that account was closed. I'ts a scam!

We need to stop this people!!!
