It didn't look right.  I got the exact same email as the guy above me.

I got the same email from my craigslist account about a front end clip as Jeremy from Sacramento:

I looked up her email account and she goes by Linda Smart and Jane Morgan.
She is also on a scam list report for MateForAll.

I got the exact same email about an elliptical I posted on Craig's List. Verbatim. Glad I checked the number before sending any details.

The email I received was posted from an account with the name Larry Moore: 300larrymoore@gmail.com

Here's the exact message:

Ha! I was selling some tickets on craigslist in Boston, and here I was feeling sorry for this poor guy because he said he was deaf! I am glad I didn't waste my time removing my listing as he so asked. What a scam artist.

I gave this dude my info like a [***]! whats the worst can happen?

Recieved this email after sending pictures to this person inquiring about my craigslist posting in East Texas. I responded back not knowing this was a scam email stating that they could pay in CASH when thier "mover" came to pick the camper up...

I just got one of these emails also about something I posted on Dallas Craigslist.  Came in with the following email:

I got the same e-mail, in response to my craigslist ad. I always google peoples names b/c i am a psycho mom and do not want to put my family in potential danger from predators.
What an idiot, this guy! I should give them my info, b/c I recently filed bankruptcy; thus, they would not go far with my name! That and it would amuse me to know they wasted so much time with a useless identity The word needs to spread before someone who has alot to lose gets nailed!

yeah i just posted some items on craigslist and i got the same messages, i replied saying that i would prefer meeting and doing this by person because his instructions were confusing me, he didnt reply though.

Thank you for the posts - just got the same scam email, exact wording, in response to a Craigs List post.

I received the same response via email.  Unfortunately I provided a mailing address but not a full number, etc.  do you think I have an incredible risk?

I just got that same message for my rims i listed on cragislist in Co! thanks for posting this I was goin to "sell" them to him.

Got the same guy, same letter.  It smelled of scam.

He sent me an identical email message for an item I have for sale on craigslist in the Orlando area.  Since I am familiar with scams I knew what it was at first sight.  I told him I knew he was a fraud and to not contact me anymore.  I then reported his emails as a phishing scam.  He used the name Keneth Cole.  (didn't even spell Kenneth right...)

Good day,how was your day?.I just receive the confirmation from my Bank that the check as been issued out and was mailed by the UPS it will be delivered to your address a day from now according to the courier, but to my greatest surprise the draft was made out for $2000 instead of the actual cost .It was claimed at the Bank that i requested for such but am very sure i only made a request for the cost of the goods.
i will have love to cancel the draft but once the draft and been issue the payment can not be reverse so pls

When and once the check is delivered to you place please take it to your bank and have it cashed,you will deduct your money plus an extra $50 to offset the cost of your run around expenses,the rest of the fund should be sent to my pick up man via western union the same day so that he can come over for the pick asap.I would have actually love to give you a call immediately i was informed about this but am a deaf and only uses a hearing-in paired phone the relay so please send me a email if i can trust you to have the excess sent to my mover thank you,best Regards
