Just got called (8:20 pm). I get a couple of calls a day at whatever time. I never answer. They never leave a message.

Call (210) 733-0870 and get the direct phone numbers for any of the following Scarborough senior management staff and call them directly:

Bob Cohen - President

Gary Meo - Sr. VP

unwanted call - how can it be stopped?

They keep calling nearly every day now for a week.

I am on the "do not call list" and go long periods of time
with no calls. Last week, three different numbers have been
calling. One will listen to the whole message then leave a
hang up message of just noise.

I have received multiple calls after 9:00 p.m. despite the fact that I am on the do not call lists and have a no solicitation message.  The Scarborough Research is part of the Nielsen rating company.  From their website: "Nielsen is the world’s leading marketing and media information company"  I am sending a cease and desist.

calls without message

This company calls me every day, several times a day and even on holidays. I am on the do not call list but they call anyway. I got someone that called from that number and they said so mumbo jumbo singing and laughing that I heard on my answer machine.

they are calling me incessantly

Well, I read what's posted on the donotcall registry. If this is a survey company, they are still allowed to call even if we are registered. that's a shame - they aren't any less annoying than the telemarketers who ARE blocked.

So, here is what I intend to do when they call every day from now on. I will answer and say "hold on", and then simply set the phone down. If that's the game they want to play, we will see who can waste more of the others time and money.

They called me last night at 8:50pm. my kids were in bed.  i didn't answer it.

they are back at it again...just got another one. Left a "one breath in" message on our voice mail then they hung up.

Call a Scarborough Survey executive named Mr. Steve Seriata at 914-923-5550 and ask him survey style if he likes being called at night. Ask him for his boss Robert L (Bob) Cohen PhD home number so you can disturb his family time too.

They've called 5 times in the last two weeks that I know of:
9/24/09 @ 8:39pm / result: told them to not call; they hung up
9/16/09 @ 9:08pm / result: told them to take me off their call list; said they can't - it's computer generated
9/15/09 @ 7:52pm / result: let it go to answering machine; no msg left
9/12/09 @ 1:27pm / result: answering machine; no msg left

Get "CALL REJECTION" service from your phone company. It blocks out specific phone numbers, which you enter. Been working great for me for 2+ years. Peace and quite. Only drawback, Qwest only allow 25 numbers to be blocked at any one time. But this has not been a problem over the years if you review your numbers from time to time and remove old numbers. BTW: you'll need to get caller ID before you can get call rejection service.

I have been getting this same call like everyone else. I think that because they call themselves a 'survey' company and not a telemarketer, they fly under the do not call radar. However, it doesn't make it any more acceptable and while writing this I just thought, maybe I will try and have there number blocked through my ph0ne company? At this point, anything to stop the harassing calls would be a blessing!

Yall sound stupid. It's just a research company. Simply turn off the ringer if you don't want you phone to ring. You can't complain about them to the "national do not call list" because they don't apply to that list. Their not selling anything, they just want you to participate in a survey. They are mostly college kids trying to make a little extra cash. Sometimes the company even pays you a little cash for the survey...and taking the survey stops the "annoying calls". And simply if you so hateful, don't tell them to take you off their list because they don't have one, the calls are generated by computer. You can simply ask them to put you on "their" do not call list.

I took the info that I previous poster listed, vp's names & google them, found some on facebook, so I send messages! They didn't like it & surprise, surprise George Meo, VP says he will take care of it!! :) Let's see.

Calls come at all times of day and after 9 at night.  Very annoying.  Never leave a message.  No caller id
