Refused to take me off their list of calls. Calls come in way too late and they continue even being on a list of no calls.

They have called for 3 days and tonight at 10pm..

Repeated calls from this number late at night. Tonight it was 9:30 pm. My father is 90 years old with lung cancer. This is not acceptable business practice to be waking up someone that is so sick.

Maybe you would understand why they are calling if you picked up the phone!

send your name and number to info@scarborough.com if you want to be remove from their calling list it was the easiest thing to do instead of complaining about it.  Yes yes you say your on the DO NOT Call Registry but this has NOTHING to do with Scarborough Research they are exempt as they are taking surveys they are not selling anything so they can call you all they want if you want it to stop them then go to the website above and let them know about it!!!

Business-to-Business Calls:
Most phone calls to a business made with the intent to solicit sales from that business are exempt from the Do Not Call provisions.
Solicitations for charitable contributions:
Calls that solicit a contribution, donation or gift of money or other thing of value are exempt from the National Do Not Call Registry requirements even if the calls are made by a for-profit organization. (Nevertheless, for-profit organizations soliciting contributions must honor call recipients’ request to be placed on an entity-specific do not call list.)


Calls to consumers who have an Established Business Relationship with the organization on whose behalf the call is made:
Sellers and telemarketers may call a consumer whose number is on the National Do Not Call Registry if the seller on whose behalf the call is made has an established business relationship with the consumer—provided the consumer has not asked to be on the seller’s entity-specific do not call list. There are two kinds of established business relationships. One is based on the consumer’s purchase, rental, or lease of the seller’s goods or services, or a financial transaction between the consumer and seller, within 18 months preceding a telemarketing call. The 18-month period runs from the date of the last payment, transaction, or shipment between the consumer and the seller. The other is based on a consumer’s inquiry or application regarding a seller’s goods or services, and exists for three months starting from the date the consumer makes the inquiry or application. Came back from vacation and this number was all over my  caller ID!  Who are these people, I'm on the do not call list also.

these people just called me and it's 9:15 pm. after asking them to take me off of their list the woman was a MAJOR b*tch to me. I'm VERY unhappy. First of all, it's very late, secondly, I do not deserve to get that type of attitude by simply asking to get taken off of a list that is pestering the hell out of me. She refused to take me off of their list and basically threatened that she was going to call back. I almost want to call the number back and tell her to stop being such a b*tch.

I sent an e-mail to info@scarborough.com and asked them to remove my phone number from their database. I got the following reply from Renee Hott dated 9/6/11:

I received this number from a Sc. Res caller that I was very direct with about not being called further.  He explained that he was not allowed to access the data files but that calling this number, I could have my number removed.

When I called, I got an immediate pick-up, I explained I wanted to be taken off the call list, the associate asked for my phone number, nothing more, and explained that my number would be removed within 72 hours.  Here's hoping this works, and for the long run.

I just wanted you all to know that I called the number (941) 379-6500.  And a very nice lady answered the phone.  I explained to her that a woman had called me from 2107363080 and very rudely told me they wouldn't stop calling.  I told her that I'm in Germany because we're military and she basically said I was lying.  So anyway, after I called the 941 number the lady reassured me that my number would be removed.  Thanked me for our service because my husband is deployed and apologized again.  I really hope she will do what she says because I'm tired of my phone ringing at 2 and 3 am over here.

THEY WON'T STOP CALLING, THEY WAKE HIM UP, THEY KEEP CALLING AND CALLING AND NOW HE IS SCARED WHEN THE PHONE RINGS! SOME ONE LET ME KNOW HOW TO MAKE THEM STOP CALLING HIM, I HAVE BEGGED, CUSSED, CRIED AND STILL THEY KEEP CALLING HIM AND WILL NOT TAKE HIS PHONE OFF OF THEIR LIST. SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!!!

A very rude company. stupid telemarketer was on the line when i answered. she refused to remove my number from their system. I informed her it was the law that they had to, she insisted it wasn't the law. If you call the number above they will try to sell you some electric razor bullcrap. These people do NOT take no for an answer. They have called many times, first time someone actually was there. . . it figures that the calls are coming from NY, that's what I expect from there....rude MFr's
