Calling for a subscription for the Virginian Pilot, when I already have one. But maybe not much longer.

This number is used by a telemarketing company called West Park Direct which contracts out to newspapers all around the country.  Their website is at www.westparkdirect.com.  Feel free to call their office at 216-589-0200 and tell them to stop calling you.

companies will purchase a block of numbers ie: 216 589-0200 to 216 589-0299. So today I received 4 calls from 216 589-0214,,so I started dialing the block. starting with 216 589-0213 received a recording so I thought let me start with 216 589-0200 a lady answered I explained I am receiving calls every 30 minutes she took my number and stated she would have it removed from the dialer and then asked me if I had any other numbers that I want removed. I have not received a call since. So try 216 589-0200 and go up 216 589-0201 and so on.......

I started getting calls from this number two days ago and it's already driving me up the wall!

ive recieved numerous calls with no voice mails... i picked up today and they hung up right after i said hello. When i called back nobody answered.

I called the number provided by Ralph above...216-589-0200 asking to have my number removed from their list. The person answering said she would add my number to their "do not call" list right away.

I just got a call but did not pick-up.  When I called back the line was busy.  If they are selling something or a collection agency, why woudl they hang-up?

This number is blowing up my phone.  I get 2-3 calls per day with no message. When I try to call back, it's always busy.  I did cancel my Newspaper supscription recently and can only assume this is their poor attempt at customer service.  How sad it is to think that people actually stalk strangers like this for a living.  It's become a comedy routine for my friends and family.  We just laugh and say it's my new sexy man "shane" calling me --- he simply can't get enough of me and calls a few times a day.  Oh well, when life gives you lemons, name it Shane and enjoy the calls.

No one is on the line if you answer and will not pick up if you call back

I am in VA and I have had 6 calls over the last 2 days, no message, just hangups. This is a business. I am getting very mad.

Same as all the above.  Just call and hang up. Will try the 216 589-0200 number.

i've gotten 4 calls from these people but i missed 3, but called them back and it kept ringing...no answer

They call daily and hang up as soon as I pick up.

I get phone calls on a daily basis from this number and when I answer, they always hang up. One morning that called around 9:30am and I decided to call them back and make a complaint about the hang ups but, no one answers. The phone will  ring and ring. There is no answering machine to leave a message and eventually an automated voice says,"There is no one to answer your call, please try again later...sorry". I decided to research the number and saw this page. I am not surprised to see that they do this to soo many others. These people are definitely sketchy and I wish they could get into trouble for harassment.

They are still at it, call every morning but no one talks.

It's time to shut these people down. I am on the do not call list but they keep calling and hanging up.  That is the definition of "harassing  phone calls".  On their recruiting page, they state "At WestPark, we insist that quality relationships translate into sales. We emphasize that every phone call and every correspondence leave a positive, lasting impression."  Here is how we can hit them where it hurts - report this to the VA Pilot.  When they find out that the calls are not delivering their intended spam messages, they will cut them off.

EVERY DAY I get a phone call from this number.  If I miss it, no voice mail.. if I answer, they hang up.
