Didn't get a call, just got a text from +447765879945 saying !!URGENT!! Large Parcel Awaiting Delivery Please Call NOW on +23222270680 for delivery Tomorrow International Parcel Deliveries

Got a text message today from number 07833 996673 telling me that I should call number 23222270680.  Didn't phone as I came on the internet and found this site.

I got the text from +447833996673 asking me to call +23222270680. I'm on 02 and contacted them today as I now expect to recicve a massive bill for this month. I called the number as I am expecting an international delivary but I won't be caught out that way again. In future i'll be deleating unknown texts the same way I do unknown emails. If you get this text do not call the number.

gpt the same text. am not calling back. can anyone reply if they have called it and got a response or if it for a real delivery but thannks to this site i am pleased to find i will not call the number.

Same here!!! Is there some institution to report the scam? Or maybe the mobile provider should do something!? After all how those people got to know so many numbers? Maybe if we all complain to the provider or threaten to call poloce about it they will stop it? This is really fishy.

The weird thing is that i'm expecting a large parcel tomorrow, one that i've had trouble getting delivered!

Called it on my landline and there was no answer.  Don't think i'll try on my mobile!

SCAM! we were expecting an international parcel so called it back. After reading these comments we're assuming its a scam...

Yet another scam call concerning an international parcel delivery. Obviously did not ring back.

Got a text to can re international delivery the text was received at 11.45 on sunday night did a search and found these people had the same, best check ur phone bill you may be charged I believe up to £50 conection fee!

Got the same message from a UK Vodafone number +44 7765 689 526. Looked up country code and realised that as it points to Siere Leone this could could only be a scam.  Surely the network operators can look at the calling numbers and take some action againt them?

I woke up Sunday morning, switched on my phone and received this message:

The message was sent by +447899 7444 50 (which is UK Vodaphone)

I get sent alot of parcels through my work, so I wasn't surprised, so I tried to get through, and after waiting a long time I got an automated message telling me to to type in my number so they could locate my parcel, but they kept
one digit wrong, so I tried two more times without success, then I tried my girlfriends phone, and got the same problem!
Now after a short search on the net, I've discovered this and similar reports on few other sites.

I'm really not looking forward to getting my phone bill next month!  :-(

Unfortunately, I am not expecting any parcel, I am glad I didn't call back !

Who knows of a legitimate courier who sends out text messages surrounded by !!!! URGENT !!!!

i got the same this morning.
And i was awaiting a very large package to be delivered!!

Hey all. i called vodafone they advised me to go to www.phonepayplus.org.uk to make complaint about the numbers that have been calling us.

tried phonepayplus, and it then put me back to Ofcom

and then they push back to Phonepayplus....

only thing I can find on Vodafone's site about nuisance calls is this
