got the same message at 11.53pm from number 07919343989 i bet alot of people will be conned by this as its near christmas and alot of people waiting for christmas presants

Just had a txt this morning asking me to phone +23222270680 for an urgent parcel to be delivered dont think its real though just a scam!

got a text message fron 07879642979 yesterday, It read.....!!URGENT!! large parcel awaiting delivery. please call now on +23222270680 for delivery tomorrow. International parcel deliveries. I didn't call, as presumed it was a scam. Checked on google and found all the other comments. These people shold be stopped!!

just had a text message as follows;

Just had it come through aswell, thought I'd google it to check it out first and voila... Scam

My mum got this same text about urgent international parcel delivery too this morning at just gone 1am.  The number it came from is: 07765 880078 and telling to call +23222270680.  She didn't call it luckily and I have told her not to answer the phone to any calls she doesn't recognise the number of.  I thought I'd google the number to check for her and found this very interesting site - thanks for all the comments and info.  I can't believe how many people have had it.  Hope no one has hugely expenisve phone bills from this.

My husband got a text saying URGENT Large Parcel Awaiting Deliver Please Call now on +23222270680 for delivery tomorrow International Parcel Deliveries.  As he was away, he asked me to sort it. I rang the number and got a very poor recorded message.  It asked for the mobile no and gave me a consignment number plus delivery time options.  However, when it repeated the mobile no it was wrong, so I decided to say it was correct and ended the call.

I had a text this morning from +44 (0)7887 846384 mentioning a large parcel for delivery and asking to phone +23222270680. Wont be doing that!

Got a text from this number saying to phone !!URGENT!! to organise delivery of a parcel. Yeh right i don't think so!
Just keeping it on my phone incase i need it for evidence.

just had the same text, and as its that time of year i'm waiting for parcels from all over, but smelt a rat and googled it straight to this web site. Needless to say i wont be ringing. Thank God for google!

I smelt a scam and Google brought me here, so looks like I was probably right!

i had a txt off some number at 1.30am tellin me 2 ring this number 4 an urgent international delivery, wen i rang the number that txtyed me it jst kept ringin then went on 2 orange answer phone but luckly i didnt ring the number that they said coz wat number starts wit +2322?????????? the number that txted me was 07919343989

Received a text "Large Parcel Awaiting Delivery Please Call Now On +23222270680 For Delivery Tomorrow International Parcel Deliveries".

I instantly became concerned as a Genuine Company WOULD NEVER TEXT YOU in My Opinion.
Message sent from number +447833983690 today SUNDAY 16th NOVEMBER 2008 @ 17:00 GMT.
I replied by saying I sent their details to the Police and that This Scam is Under Investigation....

its definitely dodgy, i'm with o2 and got a text telling me i had a large parcel waiting to be delivered and to ring this no. to have it delivered tomorrow don't ring the number! it's a phone scam, you ring the number using your mobile and they get the money!
