I work for a company called International Parcel Express and we have had lots of people look us up and call about this.
Anyone recieving a call that asks you to call the 232 number please ignore it as there is no package for you

Got a text that there was a large international parcel to be delivered and to
Phone the same number as every one else was given

Similar text from +44 7748178762 . you can't trust anything anymore.always check.  Everyone's out to part you from your hard earned cash. Don't let them get it!!

i have also had a message left saying i have a large parcel waiting to be delivered, and to call the number. which i have done several times, i guess i will now have a huge phone bill...

07884445671..this number is a vodaphone,recieved the large parcel message +23222270680 by text?? answer phone on above mobile,rang and then answer phone yesterday,maybe can trace the mobile?

any company delivering the parcel,would not use this very unsafe method,furthermore to give an address,post code name etc ,will be very dodgy you can be clone phoned.JUST IGNORE!!!!!

Same as all the others - message telling me I've got a large parcel awaiting delivery.  Obviously didn't call them!  This is the 3rd or 4th one I've had from 2 different numbers - see caller id below

Received a text last night asking me to call the 0023222270680 number to arrange an urgent parcel delivery.

It came froma mobile number 07879 652311

Exactly the same thing...mine,though was prefaced by my mobile freezing and then all of my messages scrolling at the rate of knots.  Not sure whether these scam messages also have viruses.  Luckily I can replace the phone and descam it!

I received the same message and I'm afraid I did call it despite being suspicious that the message gave no info about the courier name, or my order number etc. I was expecting a parcel so I succumbed. HAve just spoken to 3 my wholly inadequate network provider who can neither bar the number nor waive the fee I've been charged for having made the call (£1). I don't understand though what the scammer gets out of this?

I was the same as the rest i also was expecting a parcel so i rang o2 tell me it has cost nearly £7 bugger

Text message letting me know there is an ungent parcel delivery to call the above number.  I suspect the text is sent from a stolen/lost mobile phone and hoping that you call a super expensive recorded message.   I'd love to get my hands on these scammers. :(

all the numbers used are international premium rate (revenue share) numbers.  The regulators (UK/Austrian) know or could easily find out who is behind this fraud.

Ambavox and Maxtis may not be the companies operating the scam but they will know who they have supplied the numbers to. And remember these numbers are revenue share numbers.
