I have just met a man giving me exact same thing. Saiys his name is Wynn CAVIS. WIFE Died ten years ago. mom and daughter live in Italy. Son and father died in car accident. Also says he works for premire investmen t international. Hasn't. asked for any money. We have just recently met on match .com. He has sent me a phone number frim England. He says he's there on business. He also sent pictures of a daughter and two of him. The profile comes up asa woman. Says he blocked his profile when he met me. Email he gave me is wynncavis61@yahoo.com. Can anyone tell me if he's used this with anyone else?phone number he gave me is715-869-3586.

No, the person that I was writing to gave me a different email address and a different phone number.  The name he gave me was MacLord Byron Harrison.  And his mother name was supposed to be Carmen Mendoza Harrison.  He told me that his wife died ten years ago, his father and son had died in an automobile accident two years ago and that his mother was in Italy with her sister.  While I emailed me he was in England on business with Premier Investment Intl and then supposedly his mother died while he was in England.  And then the other day he sent me an email that said his mother now had cancer.  The last I heard from him he was supposed to be in Greece.  Do not give this man any money no matter what he tells you.  He has been turned in to the FBI.  I hope they get him.  He never asked me for money.  But I am sure he would have if I had continued to email him.  But it looks like there is more than one person doing this scam.

I,too, met Adabert Romano on Match.com and received the exact e-mail  posted  by Joyce. Started on Feb 27th. Have not yet met him  but supposed to on March 22nd when he returns from the UK after closing a deal  for Vanguard. Told me that he went to Italy to visit  his sick mother who game me her approval  after seeing my picture.  If any ladies  would like to contact me to fix this SOB, my e-mail is Handi88@att.net. I met him on Match.com  on Feb.27th  and he fell madly in love with me after studying my profile for 50 minutes. He just told me that he was in Italy visiting his sick motherwho approved of me  from my picture. If you can, please forward me his picture to be sur it's the same guy. This is absurd! He used the name Maclord Harrison from Chicago. This went on for almost two months. Too many irregularities I wouldn't give him any personal information. I told him I booked a flight to come see him in the UK to see his reaction all of a sudden he was very ill. I then sent him an email telling him I wasn't coming and he was a liar and never to contact me. Four days have gone by and he just emailed me this am to switch fund manager yada yada yada! What a low life and a master mind.

Yes, just found out today that I was CATFISHED by Tonio Fendergin Vassi..He does not know that I found out..
His phone number is the 940 area code. His writings and quick to fall in love made me suspicions. He is good..had me going for 7 days. Sorry I shared a lot of writings plus my name, a few pictures and my cell number...

Guess the next step was soliciting money...no other reason to Email me...He kept asking to meet me..wonder how he was going to avoid that?

How are you today? It was really nice putting a voice to all this email and pictures yesterday. I want you to wake up and have this email waiting for you. The weekend is over so I am faced with another week of business negotiations and financial transaction. I am happy that I am facing the morning after a good rest yesterday. It is good that I slept yesterday with you in my mind which made me to dream of you.

Just when I wanted to sign off my email, I saw your email is in My Spam Folder so I logged back in to send you this .this for you to understand why you received my old email again.

It’s a new day and beautiful Monday and the first thing I am doing is to say good morning to the woman that is the only reason I smile every morning and rush to my computer before doing any other thing. Today is the day that I have been waiting for; the day I have been working for and will be a very big day for me and Vanguard Investment. We are hoping to conclude on the transaction that brought me here today. If everything goes fine then we will agree on when to go and sign the contract with the Vanguard. I need all the luck on this world today. I need only the right words and calculation to come out of my mouth today. I need to be at my best. I don’t want to be under pressure doing what I do best but the company puts so much faith in me that they sound almost 100% sure that I will succeed which  puts me in a tight corner because they don’t expect me fail.

Joyce, I too received almost the exact same message, among many others, from Adalbert Romano. Unfortunately I accidentally deleted his photo.  If you have photos of him that you can forward to me at Handi88@att.net I would love to see if it is the same guy.  I am supposed to be meeting him this coming weekend for the first time and would love to be  prepared.  I received a picture from one of the other ladies and it is a totally different guy. I wonder how many of them are out there. Thank you.

I know better to give out address but he has my name and I was on Match.com so has the city where I live and a cell number..he can find out the address...It is  the scariest! But as most people say they are foreigners..and will just go on to the next person...Just glad my son found out about him after I shared his phone number...Thank god I did not hear my cell phone ring.

Been there done that. He gets the contract that he has been working on for 2 years, and that will take him to the UK and then his mom will get sick, then die. He will resign and has to go to Dubai and he will buy shares in your name for about $11 million. Bottom line is he will need money for offshore account. For me it was $28,600 I didn't give it to him.

I just wrote a long letter to the Dr. Phil show. I know they did a story but I think they will be interested in our story. Best way to get the word to a lot of people. Debbie, I am just sick reading all of this.  This same man scammed me over 3 years ago.  He is still using the same letters (word for word) that he used on me over 3 years ago.  At that time he was Michael Magdaleno Dolan.  His mom who died in Italy at that time was Carmen Mendoza Dolan.  I mean your story is IDENTICAL to mine.  This went on between he and I for almost a year before I realized that I had been scammed.  And, yes, I did send him a ton of money.  I guess I was just too honest and sincere to believe that anyone could actually use people the way he did.  Yes, he cried many times on the phone with me.  He would call 4 or 5 times sometimes in a single day. I did report him to the FBI over 3 years ago and had them phone me several times.  I provided all the false documents and copies of wire transfers but I see now that nothing was ever done to stop this ring of criminals.  I am so very sorry that you all have also fallen victim to this (or shall I say them) horrible human beings.

This IS the same person! EXACT story about wife, dad and son. Mom was Carmen Diego Mendoza in Italy. RUN while you can!!!!! He will eventually want $ from you to get an offshore account opened up so that he can have $11 million deposited into it. SCUMBAG!!!!!! I did have fun though - I played along and strung him along - gave him a false name, false address and made him think he was gonna get lots of $ from me. Then I dropped the bomb. BUT BE CAREFUL. I think there may be some sort of spyware in the emails you get from "the bank". After I sent my final ltr to him, I ran a spyware app on my laptop and there were 26 infected files found. So please BEWARE!!!!!!

His mom called him Dutch. I asked what baptismal name was who ever heard of a guy born in Italy named Woods Albert  who speaks English with a German accent after living in USA from she 6 to 14. Your accent is by age 12 to 13 years

Your post has saved me a great deal of trouble. This scam artist contacted me. Identical email. Same game. Felt "to good to be true" from the beginning. Lets shut this loser down.
