Hi... i recently got in contact with a Paul Unwin and has been sending me tons of emails. I received a call from him today saying that he needs to transit in Indonesia before coming to Singapore - and because he was carrying too much money - the Indonesian officers suspected him of money laundering and detained his luggage and cash. He asked for my help of $15,600 to pay for some certification blablabla.... Do you have a picture of him?

I am so sorry for what happened to you but I can tell you for a fact that this person is in Nigeria.  I saw him on Webcam once when he let down his guard and trusted me.  He told me that he had many fake wives and that they have helped him buy his home there.  I did report him to the FBI but heard nothing.  So just please do not contact him any more.

Tonio Vella supposed to be from Champaign, Illinois, scammed me out of some money also.  Thank heavens it was not my life savings but was bad enough.  Made everything seem so real.  Had numerous emails & phone calls from him.  Gave same story emails.  Would like to see the picture of himself he sent you.

    Hello, Joyce,
I have similar experience. Met this wonderful gentleman, widower, son Alex- Henry died in a car accident with his
grand father, His daughter Appolonia went to live with his Aunt and Mom in Palermo, Italy. His 88 year old mother was sick.
He went to attend business meetings in Kent, England, send me a picture of their meeting. Mother died and he asked me to write a tribute to her and I did. he said his daughter read the tribute during the Church services,
Went to Dubai  to met with Investors, excited to meet with them , and he is going 4o resign to be with me. However, he has to finish the transaction in Dubai. because he wanted to be with me,
His commission amounted to 11 million dollars and he would like me to register  it in my name , because he truly love me,
That was when I realize that he was a scam. How could someone in his right mind entrust to me  a person he has not even meet in person. I feel in love with this gentleman, going by the name Edward Enzo Luca, not his millions. meantime, my email was hacked  maybe by them- I really don't know. I simply removed him from my email and never wrote another email to him. So far, in the last letter  he never mentioned asking for money. But he mentioned Adalbert's name probably by mistake. When I Google his name that is when I found out about your experience and that of the others. I really felt so offended and insulted by this people. Let us find a way to expose this criminals and for them  not victimize another hard working woman like us. Thank you Joyce for posting your story. you save me from further heart ache & other disaster. Who knows what kind of people they are. May God bless you and all the others who had been their victims.

Hello everyone.  I am registered on Plenty of Fish dating site and was just contacted by this [***]!!!!  Now his name is "Thomas Tower."  We've only had two emails so far but the email here is the exact same email he sent me,word for word, except he signed it Thomas!!!

I cannot believe that he is doing this for more than 3 years and he has not been stopped.  This internet fraud.  While we haven't given him any money, there may be other women who have and there also may be police reports filed against this man up the gazoo as he uses various different identities, probably in excess of 100 different identities that may be real people.

I'm going to contact the FBI and stay on them about this guy.  I'm not sure exactly where to look for police reports of scammers, but I found this site by googling Thomas Tower because I had a bad feeling from the get-go.

Please stay in touch with me. My direct email is wildfilee@ yahoo.

God help us all from this guy!

You guys can compare the pic if you go on Plenty of Fish. I deleted his messages but will go back and see if I can get them back.  He says he's from Connecticut now.  It may very well not even be his real picture.
