One of these scam artists has been sentenced to 6 months in prison.  Now, if we can just get the rest of them.  I have been fortunate to have been given amazing help from the UK.

Well, Mr. Cardenas is alive and well as Roy Jackson. Mother died (again) just before Christmas. He found me on Match.com under the user name of sail1870.  I have reported him to them and cancelled my membership. Just heard from him this morning, his mother gave up her life so his love wouldn't be divided between her and me. Can you believe it!!

Hasn't asked for money yet. I've told him I've been skeptical all along because he doesn't know this area at all. The email address he's using now is jacksonroy56@yahoo.com. Tracing that, it belongs to a gentleman in NC that doesn't look anything like the picture "Roy" provided.  He's supposedly still working as a senior fund manager for Magellan. widowed for ten years, lost father and son in accident, daughter lives in Italy with his mother.

Since I hadn't heard from him in a while, guess he was dealing with his grief and estate matters (ha), I thought he'd given up. Guess the next step is to contact the FBI.

My God, Kate.  That is EXACTLY the same line he used on me last July when his Mom, Carmen Mendoza Dolan died.  He took my picture with him and showed her on her deathbed and she told him that she would leave this earth happy so that he could spend his life with "this beautiful woman that he loves so much!!!  What a disgusting man.  Please report him to the FBI.  His days will be numbered if we all continue to report him and keep this website going.  Happy New Year to you, too!!

Hi Michelle my name is Helen and I want to reply on your post about Paul Whitener. At the moment I am still in contact with him and how you said he is in Malaysia buying some antiques. I just found some stories about him, but I guess it's a bit late for me because he already get out from my pocket more than 5000 thousand. He is telling me how much he love me and how he want for the rest of his life to spend with me. He suppose to come on 31 December in Sydney but in the last minute he collapse at the airport and he end up in hospital. I really would like some one to find him and to punish him very bad for the things he is doing with the women's. I just want to tell you if you didn't meet him yet it's a best thing just to run away from him as far as you could. Now it's more than one month how I am in contact with him, but I wish I newer was in contact with him. I even contact police in Malaysia but they can't do nothing, they told me I have to report to the Interpol and believe me after reading all this stories I am going to report him to the Interpol. He really made my live very miserable. I came in the stage that I don't want anymore to live.

Please, Michele, don't beat yourself up for allowing your heart to become involved with this despicable man.  We are human and have human feelings and wants.  Please do all you can to report this man to all of the necessary authorities.  Eventually, they will be stopped if we all continue to be diligent and keep the investigations alive.  I feel so bad for you because I was the victim of Magdaleno Michael Cardenas and he also got a large sum of money from me.  I am through punishing myself for the feelings I had after coming to realize that I am a good person with a true loving heart---these men are not human--they are animals.  There is a good man out there for you.  Stick close to your home and NEVER EVER send another dime to someone you don't know.  My heart goes out to you and want you to know that your life is worth living so don't ever doubt that!!!!

Ladies, another name used by Magadaleno was Robinson Newton in Badoo.  The same MO, he's a widow 10 years ago and was in Africa working for the ONU, but his eight years old's daughter was with him for some strange cause... finally he asked for 500 dollars to resolve some problem and then he was going to came to Dominican republic to live the rest of his life together with a lady he just knew a few weeks ago.  He'd be able to came by the end of the last year too!  I can not imagine how many women he was going to enyoy the new year with....  Ladies,  don't stop writing to this page and add each name you find out from him, please, we have to do this to finally catch this man.

I want to ask other women's some question's about Paul Whitener. How long they was in contact with him and if any women have some more information about him. Where he lives and if is this a his real name, is he really an antique dealer and where in which country! At the moment I am in contact with him, but I want to know more about him. I would like to get some answers from the women's who really know's about him.I  meet him on Match.com dating site, but I would like to know how many dating sites he is using.

This was not one of the aliases that was used in the Magdaleno scam but I am sure that he is associated with them so whatever you do---end it right now and report him to the authorities.  One of their associates has been sentenced to 6 months in prison.  While I realize that is not long enough, it is a start and we must continue this until all of them are captured and sentenced.

I would love to email him and jerk his chain but it is better if you keep him active with you until he asks for money and the FBI can meet him at the location when he comes to pick it up.  I would love to hear that he has been captured.  It is amazing that he is using all the same messages that he sent to me on all his victims. I am sorry to hear that so many women have sent him money over just this past year.
