picked up, it said because I was a preferred customer of Bell I won something, press 1 to accept
then some guy told me I won something be he had to check if I qualified first, and he asked me if I was over 25 and I'm not so that's where it ended.

Did not answer, did not leave a message

Got the call saying because you are a preferred Bell Canada customer you've won a special prize Press 1 to claim. I also work for Bell Canada and will send to investigation.

Montreal cell here too. Also got the "Bell prefered customer" line today. Hung up immediatly.

I just received a call from 2896959898.

The machine said because I'm a Bell Canada customer I win something.... and to accept the prize press 1.
I ended the call right away

Just got the same call stating I won a prize from Bell Canada. Bell Canada will always display a 1-8xx number when calling and they certainly won't call a cell phone (which they did) and Bell Canada doesn't give away prizes!

Not surprising to hear that when you call back the number is not in service. It's called number spoofing, which is easy to do. The good thing is that Bell security should be able to trace the call, that was made to the Bell Canada employee who received a similar call.

Got the same call this afternoon, since i didnt know the number i didnt answer it. And i googled the phone number just to check up on it and found this page.

Got a call. Didn't answer. Left no message.

left voice mail: "press 1" !!!

This number rang on my cell then hung up.

Just got the call also, did not answer it i was in class. I usually do not answer stuff like that anyways if i do not know who it is.

It said "this is Bell Canada.." I did not listen beyond that and hung up.

Had this number call my cell today @ 2:37PM - too bad I didn't answer - would have been nice to have a good laugh today!
