I had the heavy breathing on my answering machine tonight, too. I wish they would at least leave a message. It's a little unconfortable listening to someone breath heavily for about a minute and a half.

yeah i got a call too.....the call was for my husband and i since i work third shift was currently sleeping....they woke me up...now i cant go back to sleep....i called the number back fearing that it was a collection agency. i used to work for one and i know how to get them to quit calling but as it turns out, it was a company tryign to get people to take surveys. the recording said that the quality of healthcare is dependent on these serverys...i have my own opinions about that that i will not share right now. im going to do more research and try to get them to stop calling. its rediculous.

They called my cell phone at 7:30 pm and didn't bother to leave a message.

If any of you would actually READ your hospital paperwork, it says right on there that a representative from Healthstream may contact you to conduct a survey regarding your care.  Healthstream is a contractor hired by hospitals/health care providers to obtain surveys from people recently treated.

Well MAYBE Healthstream FOOLS should leave a message?

It is some Health Care survey place called HealthStream!!  How do they get my Cell #?

if you call there is a message that says they are conducting health care surveys for many different hospitals and health providers and since they are conducting 100's of surveys they can not patch you thru to a person but that they will be calling back.......... this is rediculous.......... I am going to be calling my doctor and the hospital they are affiliated with to find out if they use this service if not I am also going to be reporting them..............

I called them back at 800-473-1771 and they told me they were calling to do a survey because of a hospital stay.  I told them I would take their survey right then but they said that wasn't good for them.  When I told them to take me off their list they said they would, lets see if they actually do.

I am and have been on a lung transplant list for two years now and to be truthful welcome a call from any body in a position to help improve my all to many stays in our local hospital. When these people call, answer and let them know what you think. In today's economy most hospitals are forced to hire hospitalists, Young fresh out of school doctor wanna be's making the rounds and discovering magical cures from their one page emergency questionaire sheets. My most recent visit my hospitalists assistant discovered fibrosis in my lungs (DUH) and freaked out sent me for an emergency ct scan STAT and sent me to my pulmonologist asap. It would have been nice if I could have understood her it would have been even better had she taken the time to pull my chart, quite extensive as I use this hospital exclusively, before coming to my room with the magical cure to all my ails. If you or a loved one was recently in the hospital give credit where credit is due, there are some caring human beings working hard and long hours to care for the sick and on the other hand dont forget to tell them about the old gal thats asleep and takes forever to answer that bell it's his or her job and if they dont want to be there when you need them they need to find employment in another field. This is your chance to be heard speak up

Umm Not sure how you get number to call, when we are protected and it is against the law to give out patients information.  So if you are a member of some company that provides you with numbers, they are breaking the law.  Seems to me that when someone tells your company do not call, the do not know what that means.

This is a legitimate call. My daughter was recently in the hospital for surgery and they told me I would get a call from a research company to do an over the phone survey about our recent visit. They called me once however I was at work and could not do the survey at that time. They tried again this morning, however I am at work and cannot answer. I may try to call them back later so they won't be wasting their time. But it is legit.

Just received a call on my cell phone from this number (301-575-9366).  I didn't answer and they left no message.

They call every day. Leave no message. I was in the hospital a few weeks ago too.

I got a call from this number too, and got the heavy breathing voicemail, like it was someone's cell phone or something. Yeah, that's TOTALLY professional and legit. No thanks. Ugh.

Also, I've called them back about 87 times and get no answer or even a voicemail - it just disconnects me automatically. I hope I'm annoying them as much as they are annoying me  :-)

No person, no message left.  I don't surveys on my time without requesting financial compensation!

I received a call from this number looking for someone else. I could not understand them she did not speak English. Nor did she identify the company she was with. She call on my Blackberry I blocked the number. I had no idea who the number belonged to until I looked it up and found this site.
