Called @ 1320. Not the first time. Funny thing is, they are calling for my mother-in-law! Call her, not me! What am I supposed to do? Do these people think she will listen to me?

Is Mann Brecken even a law firm? I see no attorneys listed on there website?
I got them to stop calling. Just send them a letter saying: "Cease and Decist all Phone Calls." You can send send them letters saying:

First Warning, Not to call
Second Warning, Not to call
Third Warning, Not to call
Fourth Warninng, Not to call

This way if they ever take you to court you can tell the judge that they made too many calls and failed to stop all calls the first time you sent notice, the Judge might decide to call the debt even.

You have a right to deal with the debt "in writing only" this way you will avoid receiving any calls. Alot of times letter writing slows down there collection efforts because of the paperwork involved. It also gives you time to figure out what you can afford to pay without going homeless or falling behind on other bills.

Left a message for me. Mann Bracken Law Offices. Just desperate debt collector on very old accounts. Just ignore them, they have no power.

I have received calls from this number 3 to 5 times every day (weekends included) for the past 2 weeks.  Sometime it is a recorded message and sometimes it just hangs up on me.  When I do get the recorded message, it is for someone who has never lived here.

I didn't answer b/c I pay by bills on time, and I'm not interested in having my time wasted.

This company has already gotten a judgement against me for Discover Card Services.....so just go away and quit harrassing me. You'll get paid if I ever sell my house....or NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You can't take my house; you can't take my car....and I have no money in my wallet....and about to be jobless.  Want my first-born?  Come and get him....but I guarantee you'll bring him back!

They keep calling and asking for my mother in law. I ask why they want to contact her and they say "personal business". They call many times each week, and are hostile

they just called me...first name was right, last name and last 4 of ssn wasn't.  they said 'i' owed 1000 bucks.  i  told them it wasn't me and she asked what are 'we' going to do about this debt.  i told her, i don't care what 'you' do about it because it's not my debt.  can't wait for another call

I just started calling them back and harassing them....Feels good!

They've called several times today, (several calls a day for the past week!!) and just play some smarmy type of music. I"ve hung up. I called back to see WTF but all I got was a recording of some attorney's office. This is driving me NUTS!!!

Have been getting calls from this number for the past 2 weeks. No one on other end, elevator music once.They call around 8:10 AM and later in the day around 6PM.I don't owe anyone anything exceptfor one account,of which I already have made payment arrangements.I check my credit report annually & am current on everything. I am also on the national do not call list so why am I getting calls like this?

I called and requested the bar number and they flat refused to provide one. definitely a scam give no information to 301-882-9975 unless you hate your credit.

This is actually a call center to get through to the law firm you have to call 800-745-7303 and get them to remove your name or you will sue for harrassment and that they are responsible for their call centers harrassment since they are doing it on their behalf. that should get them to stop calling. found this out after much yelling. hope it helps y'all.
