They called Saturday and asked for my wife on my company-financed cell phone number. We get a lot of this having just re-financed our mortgage. Note that the initial process of refinancing always involves a phone call  .........coincidence?

I'm not a Luddite, but it should be possible to exist in this country without a phone (or a driver's license, come to that) and do everything IN WRITING. That way you don't have to provide anything other than SS number.

some crap about reducing my credit card debt.
I don't have any credit card debt.

It seems like these types of unsolicited calls have increased in the past year, where is the policing of this?  It seem no one in government wants to deal with these people who are breaking state and federal laws by not following do not call lists.

I have no call list for my cell, phone, still received this call this morning - did not recognize so I did not answer; no message was left; very annoying, as I keep my cell at work with me for family emergency.

Would NOT leave a message. My phone number is on DO NOT CALL LIST, to no avail !

I received a call from this number on my land line. 402-491-2800. So annoying. No message. It is getting to the point that if anyone calls the landline I don't bother to get it. It is some no name company.

I am on the do not call list and am tired of getting these calls.

Same here, I got two calls from MRSI (Marketing Research Services Inc.) they asked to take a short survey on my healthcare provider & the other on Winston Tire. Next time I'll tell them DO NOT put me on the survey or one of their MRSI. I am also on the Nat'l Do Not Call List.

8:20pm called and asked for "Carol", it has been a man and a women voice on the phone.  The calls are random.

Got a call from this number at 8 pm on a sunday night.  They claim they weren't making a sales call and represented some drug group. I didn't wait for any more.

I HATE telemarketing calls. I think they use that to get around the DONOTCALL laws. It still puts their customers names out there whether you want a part of a survey or not.

I found a GOOD use for my old modem. I add these JERKS numbers to a program I worte which calls THEIR 800 number every few hours. Hell, they already HAVE my number. I might as well use it to aggravate them back. If everyone did this, it would tie up their lines, and hopefully cost them an arm and a leg and put them out of business.

It's a great use of an old useless modem...

I got a call from these creeps but since I never answer phone nos. I do not know, I disconnected them after one ring.  I am on the do not call list, but I think it is totally useless.

This number called me and new my name and bank! they called me 3 times and I know there is something iligal going on, if you recive a call from this number report them imidiately! I dont know how they got my information. I hope they catch this MF... and put them in jail, if anybody out there has the power to identify this caller, do something about it!!!!!!. I even called the number back and there was no answer. They are up to something and THEY NEED TO BE SOPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call from this number.  CID read "Convergys Corp."  They said it wasn't a sales call.  They were taking a customer satisfaction survey on behalf of "your pharmacy."  Hung up around that point.  So annoying.
