Got the same call on Friday night and again on Monday night. Never answered but they never left a message. So annoying!!!

No response when answer phone

I would like them to stop phoning me because I am on the do not call list and my phone number is unlisted so please tell them to stop phoning me.

this number called me 4x yesterday and 3x today, and i dont want anything with any servey things....

Just checked my phone and I have 4 missed calls from this number today. No messages were left, so I don't bother calling back. From reading this page, it looks like this number is associated with RBC.

Why does RBC have annoying calls?! When I first opened my account, RBC kept calling from another number. Turns out they just wanted to see if I had any questions, etc. If I did, I would have called.

Called them today to get my number removed...will post follow up if it happens......

Hi guys, I just want to clear a few things up for you annoyed people.

1) If a company calls to do a SURVEY, then the DO NOT CALL LIST DOESN'T APPLY (look it up if you don't believe me, survey companies are exempt)

2) If the company calls you and you hang up, they WILL call you back because it's an automated dialer and they have NO control as to how many times you get called a day. That's what automated dialers do.

3) It's not the people conducting the surveys fault that you get called, it's the company they are doing the survey for, so no need to be rude to them. They're doing their job, so talk to the company whose PAYING them to do the survey

4) It's not a scam, listen to what they say before you cut them off, if they ask for personal information then don't answer the question, but I've taken the call and they don't ask personal questions

5) THEY CANNOT REVEAL WHO THE SURVEY IS FOR UNLESS THEY ARE SPEAKING TO THE PERSON ON FILE. (This is for the privacy of the individual, you don't know how many times husbands and wives actually find out their spouse has a secret account, so if the person reveals who the survey is for, it could cause for more problems). This has happened numerous times, so they're doing it to protect the client.

6) Like I said before, it is NOT THEIR FAULT for calling you, it is the company paying them to do the survey, no need to be rude to them, (unless they are rude to you) but hear them out before you hang up or else they will put you down for a call back

PS. If they don't answer right away, it's because they are using an automated dialer so it takes a while for them to hear you, so again, that isn't their fault. Just kindly asked to be put on THEIR OWN do not call list, and they should happily oblige.

yea, it is true, they conduct surveys to see how satisfied customers are. they're in existence for a reason, must be because most people want to voice their opinions on how satisfied/unsatisfied their experience is. i dont blame them for doing their job, its annoying but then again, they have no control over how many times you get called a day, they arent able to leave voicemail cause its an outbound centre and its to protect the client, which makes sense. but yea if you ask them nicely to be taken off the list, theyll do it. and yea its tru that survey companies are exempt from the do not call list, so yea..just answer the phone and say please put me on the dnc list, or else, they really will call you back because 'no answer' or 'hanging up on them' technically isnt saying 'no i dont want to be called back' they dont take hints, they take verbal words

They called again today, so don't tell me they ADD you to their DNC list.........!

How is it not their fault wheyn you call them and TELL them you want to be put on their DNC LIST AND THEY CONTINUE TO CALL?????????

Got a call this morning, answered it and it was hard to hear, but the man said his name was Ryan and he was returning my call.....I did not call them..lol

Got a call from this number at about 10:00am on Friday on my cell phone.  No immediate answer so I hung up right away. I tried calling back but it was busy.

I got a call from this number while my daughter was at work. The girl asked for her by just her first name.  I am afraid I was rude, then I got wondering if it was someone she had known before I moved in with her, so I googled, and sure enough - it looks like it was the evil, creepy Rbc AGAIN!!

I am getting really tired of this intrusiveness.

The girl was actually pretty pleasant and due to "CONFIDENTIALITY REASONS" could not tell me who they were calling on behalf of.
I laughed... Confidentiality, and meanwhile YOU have my UNLISTED NUMBER and MY NAME.
Also told her that if they can NOT dial a phone themselves, then they should not be in this business.

I am SO SICK of Computer dialed marketing, I thought that this type of marketing was Illegal



Thanks to one of the previous post, I have now been taken off their list

If you line up at your branch they will call you to ask about the service you received. If you contact your branch and ask them to flag your account you won't receive the calls anymore. It worked for me.

I'm not sure anyone knows this, but every time you use a card that gives you points or miles or some bonus...that company has the right to SELL your information with out recourse as you are receiveing point and or miles in return for the shopping you do...they can tell you how much you drink smoke gas sheets tooth paste EVERYTHING  you do...and then they SELL your phone number to companies to market you knowing what you have purchased

this post was helpful - my wife has an RBC account, so if I pick up, this oufit hangs up. We have 2 small kids and I dont need telermarketing hangup calls at all hours. I called and a nice sounding kid apologized. hopefully the calls stop
