i got a call from these guys no less than 10 times in a day and a half.  i ignored the first 5 then i started answering the next ones to tell them to stop only to find that they didn't even seem to be aware they were calling me.  i could hear background conversations but no one was responding.  then this morning they called again and someone finally asked for me by name.  before they could say anything i told them i was sick of the calls and to not call back.  they hung up without another word.

i have only my mortgage with rbc and i already did a survey with them over the phone which was much more legit sounding and professional.  i called rbc anyway and complained and they took my info and said they would look into it.

if it was possible to reach through the phone and tear someones f'ing throat out i would have done it to these call center guys a half dozen times already.

I just received a phone call from this number 416-233-0047. It's a business marketing research company out of etobicoke (toronto). Doing an RBC survey.  I then called this number 416-233-1555  (actual office number for the call center in etobicoke) and asked for my number to be removed from their list and they were very pleasant and it was no problem.  Hope this helps.

Yes! Just call 416-233-1555 and ask to be removed from their directory list. Spoke with a lady named Helen there and she was very friendly to agree to pass the (given numbers) to company director to be removed.

We have been getting calls from this number and no one speeks when we answer. Most annoying.

Received a call from this number at 8PM tonight. There was only the silence on the other end. I said "Hello" a couple of times, then they hung up on me. Tried to call them back from my cell to find out what they wanted, but the number was always busy. Will try later on. Probably pull a little prank on them by saying that I'm really interested in their product or whatever they do over there. After asking for all the small details I'll say "No". BTW, my number is unlisted as well.
PS: when you get a number from your telephone provider, it doesn't mean it's unknown to anyone. My phone used to belong to someone named Stokes. I still get calls now and then, when people ask for him. All the best to everyone...

This number keeps calling and no one speaks they just hang up. If there is a way to remove me from the calling list I would like that to happen immediately. I've heard it may have something to do with RBC and if it is they should be fined for phne harrassment.

I got a phone call on my cell phone, did not answer and they left no message on voicemail. I called back hiding my number and the line was always busy. I think the RBC thing makes alot of sense to me!

Does this number ever give up. I have not answered it because I dont know the number...It has called me 4 times a day for the last few days. I refuse to answer since it is on my cell number.

this person or persons are calling my cell I only had for 3 months it says  on my caller id its it form Ontario and only 5 people have my number, no one ells.. they should not keep calling me. I will not answer. calling first time today 2 times Nov. 5, 2011

The person dialing from this number hangs up when we answer. They are a nuisance and always call around supper time.
