Unsolicited calls

I just got a call from this number.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.   Since they did not leave a message I assume they are telemarketers and so I have added this number to my blocked call list.  

My phone number has been on the National Do Not Call Registry since August 2003 so if they are telemarketers, they are violating the law.

To block calls like this I got a Panasonic KX-TGE245B that allows me to block up to 250 numbers and/or area-codes.  Panasonic has several new 2014 models that will block that many numbers.  You simply save the CID to the blocked list.  You can also block area codes by adding them to what they call a “Range List” (you are blocking the range of numbers starting with that area code).

Multiple calls in a week,  when I picked up the phone nobody answered.

Got four phone calls from this number today three on my cell the other on the home phone all asking for my father by first name only by a woman with a super thick accent.

of course they are always occupied They are busy annoying other people!  I am going to report them - they call several times a day!

Getting calls from this # and sometimes no one talks. Please get it to stop!!

answered call for my husband and asked for message and answer was not important and he hung up.  received calls from this number a couple of times now.

I got a call that and called my name after my confirmation she hanged up

This number keeps calling and my husband answered.They asked for me and refused to give my husband any info.Hung up on them.

Somebody keeps calling from 1-416-233-0047 mostly during the weekend. I didn't answer & ignored it until today. When I answered this morning it was white noise for few minutes & then 1 girl asked for my daughter(first name) only. I said that she wasn't here & then the girl said " Not a problem. I will try another time!" She didn't even clarify which company or what was the reason for call... It was kind of suspicious one, so I called back that number but I could hear lots of noises & their automatic system says" If you want us to return your call, it will be 30 minutes and $2.50 charge ...." What kind of company is that? Why keeps calling random house and breaking my peaceful weekend? Very annoying .. Please stop it!!!!
