just received a call today from 6175 Hwy 7, unit #6 - to pick up one of 5 prizes:

    1) $1500 cash CDN
    2) furniture
    3) 7 day cruise - all expenses paid
    4) 3 day trip
    5) 42 flat screen TV

said I had to go and pick out 1 of 5 prizes from a draw box

I was then referred to the Manager - William Lee (Li) for verfication - trying to get me to go to one of 2 pick up times 6:15 pm or 8:30 for an 1 1/2 presentation - and I can then leave with my prize

apparently there are supposed to be no strings attached

I as well, just received a call from "Premium Grand Inc.", telling me that I've won 1 of 5 grand prizes:

#1. Furniture set (bedroom, living room or dining set)
#2. 7 day Carribean cruise with airfare.
    #3. $1500 CASH
#4. Trip to Florida, Orlando, or Cancun
    #5. 42" LCD TV - Toshiba

I first spoke with a lady (who had a thick East Indian accent), who told me I had filled out a ballot but couldn't verify where I'd filled it out when I asked. When I told her I didn't remember filling one, she told me that it was "okay if I didn't remember filling one out because it was so long ago". (Red flag #1)

I was then transferred to her Sr Manager, William LEE (who also had a thick East Indian accent - Red flag #2). He was insistent that I bring my spouse and kept asking several times to verify this (Red flag #3). I am to show up at 6:15pm or 8:30pm, at the same address: 6175 Hwy &, Unit #6, Woodbridge. There would be a 60-90min presentation (Red flag #4).

TO THE COMPANY "Premium Brand Inc" (or whatever you are calling yourself now):
Even if you are legitimately trying to promote your company by giving away free prizes, very few people actually believe this. You are better off trying to advertise yourselves via a website or newspaper. This is considered harrassment and honest, hardworking people like myself do not appreciate this.

    TO OTHERS:
I hope these postings have helped to clarify. This is just information to help you make an infomed choice. However, if you decide to go ahead and "claim your prize", please post your experience so that others can be informed as well.

Thanks to everyone else for their postings and thanks for reading.

I just got a call from 905 754 5163 x2424 (Daniel) they - I spoke to two ppl - told me that I won 1500 in cash given in prizes (trip to Niagara Falls, trip to Florida, furniture....), b/c I recently filled in the ballot form at some mall. They asked me if I could come today or tomorrow to claim my prize, which is one of the five prizes awarded tomorrow (out of 60 prizes in total). I asked them where I filled in the ballot - they didn't know (the fact is I was abroad for the last three month). They said the name of the company is "Premium Incorporated" and that they worked in the US for 30 years, but have recently transferred all their business to Canada, and nothing is left in the US. I asked for the website - the response was they don't have a website. They repeated a couple of times that this is not a sales event, but a true award ceremony that will take from 60-90 minutes, and which will consist of 3 parts - 1. draw, 2. drinks, 3. collection of prizes. What can I say - sounds like some marketing scam... if somebody wants to pick up this "prize" here is the claim number: SZH110, appointment for 8:00 p.m tomorrow, nov 24, 2010. Address: 6175 HWY 7, Unit 6, Woodbridge, ON

They are also using (905)254-2494 for the deal of come to Woodbridge 6175 Hwy 7 #6 to claim one of five prizes with no obligation.  Told them that was quite a distance and could only come alone during a weekday and gave me to "William Lee" and he said there are different prizes for singles and couples but I could arrange by calling him directly at (905)963-0139 ex 828 to arrange a time if I called before noon.  They would not answer who was behind the draw nor that any time other than a personal draw was required.

I got the same phone call today. First the person went on to say I had won one of 5 Grand prices....etc etc.
The address given was 6175 Hwy 7, Unit 6, Woodbridge. She then transfers me to her manager....who introduces himself as Daniel. I questioned him if we require to buy anything and he said 'No obligation". Then he asked me what my background(nationality) was...when I answered him...He hung up the phone on me....

And now thanks to your comments I know this is a scam.

I got a call today at lunch same as others spoke to William Lee ext 828 phone number 905 963 0139 6175 highway 7 unit 6 in Woodbridge. Premium Corp is giving me 1 of 5 prizes validation number R1574
It will not cost me anything, and I am told I do not have to listen to anything.

It sounds too good to be true so I am sure it is a scam but so far in these posts no one has gone to see.  Has anyone ever gone north to Woodbridge so see the whole show?

I told him I would call him back and left it at that.

I reported it to 'info@antifraudcentre.ca' because I am on a no call list.

I got a phone call around 4pm today. A guy with a heavy Indian accent as described in many posts explaining that I had entered a ballot for Xmas season shopping (I knew this sounded odd since I have been out of Canada since May 2010 and had not entered any "Xmas" ballots. He told me I was one of 50 people in Ontario who can claim one of the 5 prizes:

    1) 42 inch Toshiba LCD
    2) $1500 cash
    3) Furniture / bedroom sets
    4) 17 inch HP laptop
    5) 3 days trips to Florida, Las Vegas, etc.

He told me I had to come down to 6175 Highway 7 & 27, Unit #6, Woodbridge, ON. The company offering these prizes was Premium Incorporated.

Then he proceeded to ask me some personal questions about my age and if I am married or not. He said I cannot claim the prize unless I came as a couple. I hung up....

Then I Googled and saw this thread. Wanted to share my experience so that others are aware this SCAM is still going on.

Got a call today, usually do not talk to these people, but that guy had such a bad accent, that I thought I lost a wallet. (ballot)

Anyway, this is why I look up this place on internet. I am not planning to go, but I will be interested to hear from anyone who did.

I just got this call too (Dec 7, 2010).  In fact, the first time this person called, the connection was so bad that I couldn't make out who was calling and what it was about.  She called back a second time and told me I won 1 of 5 prizes and that I could claim them by attending in person at 6175 Hwy. 7, Woodbridge.  I asked if it was a time share or if I had to sit through some long presentation about their products and she laughed and said no, that I would not be required to to sit through anything.  The kicker was that she said I was to come to pick up the prize with my husband or boyfriend and when I told her I had neither, she told me I "disqualified" from participating and hung up immediatley.  Looks like the target is couples and families.

Thank goodness for these posts, it's great when you can check on these types of things!!

Tera, I got the same code!  SZH110.  Of course, same address (6175 Hwy 7, #6, Woodbridge), same prizes, supposed to speak with Tina, and that should I have any questions, call Kieth Connor at 905-754-5163 x786.

Set up an appointment for tonight at 8:15 PM.  If I was closer, I'd go just for laughs (and drink as many drinks as I could in the 60-minute "awards ceremony").

Just got this phone call this morning at 7:30 while trying to get everyone to school. Man by very English name of Kevin Austin with very thick foreign accent, sounded like he was calling from a car (traffic or machine noise in background). Kept rambling on and on about some prizes I had won, I kept trying to ask him to hurry and tell me what it was all about, but he just kept on about the prizes. Finally got him to give me HIS info and said I would call back just to get him off the line.  He gave the same address and phone # as all the other posts here. Will defiantly be  taking this further,as in notifying the authorities and maybe even TV or newspaper. This is just up Pat Foran's alley.

We received telephone call today saying we had won one of five prizes.   The caller also gave a claim number.   Said his name was Cliff Jordan and that this was a totally legitimate call.  Said I could call him back at 416-254-5358 or his personal number of 905-787-4521 (called and this is long distance).
He said a ballet was filled out on October 27th in Walmart - which I do not recall.    Also said if we were senior citizens, we could go to their website www.ontarioscorporation.ca (no such website) and fill in our claim number.   One of those five wonderful prizes would be delived to our home, if senior citizens, or if under the age of 55, we should go to 6175 Hwy 7, Unit #6 in 'Woodbridge.
    A scam.

Someone called me on Dec. 23, 2010 and said that I had won $3000 cash and 5 prizes.  They said I had filled in a form (which I never did) but they insisted this was the case. They said to go to 6175  hwy 7, unit 6 Woodbridge, Ont. L4H 0F6 to claim the prize. The person who called was Steve Alberto and the senior manager was Daniel James at 905-754-5163 ext. 2424.
