Keep getting these calls.  Have no idea what they're "selling".  Here's a tip:  If you want to answer these prank, phony, disgusting calls, keep a whistle or air horn by your phone and just let them have it

This number has called me numerous times. There is never noone on the line. I call back and all it does is ring. I tried to call back today and it won't even ring now.

Just got a call from this numer  they hung up when I answered   this is Sept 2011 they are still at it !

got a call from 586 283 3000 wanted to know if someone will be home tomorrow so they could drop off coupons.  Tried calling number back all it does is ring.

CALLER ID said: "MICHIGAN CALL"

I picked up, and a polite female voice said, "I'm calling from American Professional Services.  We're going to have someone in your area tomorrow and we'd like to drop off a package for you".  

I asked what was in the package and she said "Coupons and some other things".  
I asked, "Are you a charity?"

She replied, "No, have a good day."
She hung up on me before I could ask her to remove my number from her calling list.

I just reported this call a few minutes ago, but upon further research, I realized I heard from this company about a year or two ago and asked them not to call me before.

I called the above number today, & was transferred to a "Marketing Staff Support Group" where I could only leave a message (I did).  It all seemed familiar from a year ago so I called back & demanded to speak with a live person.  I spoke with Monica (the DNC person).  I was explicit that I never wanted to be called by them again ans asked why they were still calling me a year later.  

She said they buy a new phone list from InfoUSA every year and that having scrubbed me from their previous list doesn't prevent them from calling me when a new phone list is purchased.  I believe that goes against the intent of the DNC law once I've asked APSA to never call me again so I filed a complaint with the National DNC website.

The InfoUSA list is based on age (50-75) and location - within a two-hour's drive of Warren.  They are trying to sell financial services to older people but I do not trust anyone that uses such an indirect approach.

went to reverse look up got the latitude and longitude for this #. went to google maps typed those in and they gave me this address. 11417 MARTIN RD. WARREN, MI. 48093.

Like the others they wanted to drop off a package to someone who is in the age range of 50-79.   They knew my street and said they would be on my street on Monday.  I am on the do not call list.  I have received this call, and 4 calls from other telemarketers.  I have reported all of them to the do  not call registry.  I would like to know how all of these telemarketers have suddenly received my phone number.  
any ideas?

I answered and a woman asked for Mr. or Mrs. and said she was from Professional Services and would like to make an appointment to come to my house on Thurs.  I told her I did not have any Professional Services and she hung up.

I am on the Natn'l Do Not Call List but I think they just got my name and number from the published phone book.  Makes you want to go non-pub.  But then again I think the published phone book is the wrong concept anyway.  That is my personal number that I pay for from the phone company, I think they need to reverse the concept that you pay to have it published and don't pay for non-published.  Anyone in politics?

Warning! I got a call this a.m. from 586-283-3000. They said they were calling homeowners on my street  bet the ages of 52 and 70 to offer their benefits something or other. They asked if someone would be home on Monday to recieve their package and I said no and hung up. Then I started thinking..what if they are trying to see if someone would be home so that they could break in to the house. I called the number on caller id back and got NO ANSWER.

I have been receiving calls to our land line and nobody ever answers. I would like to know who this is, or if this is some type of organization, or scamming. Could you please help me out?

I just called the "Do Not Call Registry" and left a complaint.

I would suggest that others do the same so they get several messages.  The "Do Not Call Registry" number is 1-888-382-1222.  God Bless!
