Got a call back in November.  Like other people that have commented, they do a survey and tell you you will be entered into a draw.  At no point did they say will have to listen to some guy demo a vaccum cleaner.  All they tell you is they are a business concerned with people's breathing problems.
They called me back last week, March 29, 2013, and told me I won.  Pick a prize.  I was half asleep from working nights, answered yes to her questions...see you Monday or Tuesday.  I tried to call the number back to cancel the "appointment" and no answer.  Googled Health Tek and found out what they are about.  I am not going to answer the phone or the door if he shows up, period.

How the [***] would they know your stupid kid was sleeping u moron! U should think before posting! U were annoyed cause someone knocked on your door!?

U can't be serious are you!? U actually think that!? You are a [***] riot! We do not work with the police. Since when would filter queen work with the police. We don't give a [***] if u cook or grow in your house. Someone have a guilty conscience much!!! You are by far my favorite most idiotic response so far!

I saw the add for this job on Craigslist yesterday, as anyone looking for a job I applied it seemed great! The last called me this morning and offered me an interview at 8pm this evening ok, first that's weird and seems pretty late for an interview. Second - she was rude and basically hung up on me before I had said bye. I decided that I would go anyways.. Then I got home and I thought that I would look up the company to make sure everything was legit but then I realized she didn't say the name of the company and just gave me the Address - coquitlam location faucet road. I looked up the phone number because not much came up with the address and got all this information I have decided I will NOT be going to this job interview as I am not a telemarketer or annoying person. I tell these people to f**k off all the time however we all have to keep in mind it's not 100% these people that are calling you's fault - they work for the company like anyone else they need a job and money to live. Legit good jobs are hard to come by now a days.

Pissed off with vacuum sales people lying outright.  Tell people what your selling and quit with the gimmicks. If we want one we will ask if not, get lost !!!

What a joke. Healthtek is totally dishonest!!  When I need a vacuum I el go to a store. Shame on you people.

These people need to be arrested and put into jail for what they do. I don't understand why our Gov. agencies allow these as****** to continue to harass people and lie to them about a prise they won just to get into your home.  Healthtek Enterprise is not listed with the BBB and this is what had me concerned. Once I phoned back, I was treated very rudely by a man named Derek,Paul and some other as*****unlike the first call I took from a polite young lady. People be forwarned because our Gov. doesn't give a crap about whose pretending to run a business scam in Canada and finding a way to enter your home!!!

Someone came to our door doing an air quality survey, which took a few seconds so we did it and thought that was it.
A week or so later "Healthtek Ent" started calling our land line (we don't answer numbers we don't recognize and the person for the survey never mentioned this company name). They called 16 time!! Finally I picked up and when asked why they had called so many times and never left a message she said "oh we figured nobody was home so we kept trying" and I said we didn't answer numbers we don't recognize. She then says "well I always answer the phone when it rings" in a snarky tone (good for you smarty pants).
She tells me we have won a daily prize draw and give me 2 options. I ask her if we have to do anything to claim the prize and she says "oh no it's free".
After deciding on a time she tells me that when the person comes they will have a product to show me and they hope that I will tell my friends about it. I said forget the gift I'm not interested if I have to listen to a product demonstration and then SHE HUNG UP ON ME!
SO frustrating that they called 16 times and then this crap!

Had a girl come to the door this evening...same pitch with the nonchalant quick questions being asked...came inside and looked up the Healthtek web page only to find it was another one of those sales gimmicks as others have experienced.  I went outside and approached her - had her give me back the info card she had with my name and number...so am hopeful not to receive the annoyong sales calls...well I guess my name is out of the $20,000 shopping spree...oh well, I can shop with my own money :)

I just thought I would post this comment. I had a chance to see this page before a presentation by Healthtek and although I did feel a little uneasy about my appointment I did decide to go through with it, mainly because I had promised I would. After sitting through a presentation I did feel that the products were amazing, but just way to expensive. However after meeting a very considerate and nice representative of this company I now feel some of these comments are absolutely appalling. The young lady that was here actually reminded me of my daughter and I was saddened to think that this young lady might be reading some of these comments. I am sure that not everyone has had the same experience with me, but calling someone a moron for demanding a sliver of respect or saying that everyone in this company should be put in jail because they call you to much is unbelievable. This is the first time I have left a comment online, but in this case I thought it my duty to tell the public that I imagine the people you read on this site are the few(still to many) that have had negative experiences with this company. I am hear to tell you that there are those like me that have actually had good experience. On a side note I would like to thank Anastasia for her charming and informative presentation. Keep up the good work!!! Sorry again for dog hair, lol.

Wow can't say a whole lot about this company ( Healthtec Enterprises Inc ) which is owned by Filter Queen, which has so many other branches with different names, Health-Mor, HMI Industries, BFA Inc, Air-Flow Technologies, Sound-Filtration, Country-Air, Pioneer-Industries.. and the list goes on and on. Saw an ad on Craigslist for a position in sales and got an interview. The building looked legit on the outside, but once you enter it's bare with a small waiting room, small meeting room, a glass window, and then a small office that's decorticated with all but one framed picture of their amazing product, the Filter Queen. This product has supposedly been around for 80 years..or made to believe it has.. not sure why barely anyone knows about it.. oh probably because it's sold door to door through a sketchy approach. Keep in mind that this building is their corporate office... Another red flag went off when the interviewer took a phone call and started talking about nothing to a supposed salesman that's working for them. The desk had nothing on it but the telephone. People could be heard yelling from upstairs where their call centre/telemarketing is located. They won't give you any sort of benefit because in your contract you'll be hired on as Independent contractor with no mention of that anywhere except the contract.

These people never like to give a clear answer to your question, it always seems like they dance around it which is so annoying. The whole job is sketchy to begin with, the telemarketers call up people telling them they won a price, and give them options. Before this can even happen they get their victims numbers from surveys they do that are door to door, or through bogus scratch tickets in the mail, and air quality surveys. After the person tell them what they want as a prize the telemarketer will tell the victim(usually old people) that they have to send someone over to their house to deliver the prize and to sit through a 90 minute demonstration on their product. If the victims don't want it they are taught to leave all the dirt back onto the floor and make a bigger mess. The door to door salesmen are also taught to be pushy, and have to call their boss in the middle of the demo to try and close to deal. The salesmen are not even reimburse for their gas they use. Their orientation/training isn't paid for.. they even tried to make it sound like it was a good thing you weren't getting paid to do training, most companies supposedly make you pay for training...yaah ok. The moral of the story is don't work for Healthtek or any affiliate that sells the Filter Queen, Majestic, and Defender.

You have been brain-washed. If a company is not willing to say who they are, why would you trust them. Not to mention lying about being on the BBB. Not to mention using a scam to do a sales pitch & not giving the prize that was won unless you listen to the pitch. I had a company do this to me once, never again will I put myself through that.

I got a call from this number, also they put an ads for a career in Sales.  With all of this negative comment.  I don't feel comfortable answering. I am not interested with their expensive products either.

I work for a company that promotes the use of the filterqueen products and I don't understand how people get so upset!! Are you upset by us showing you a product that helps with breathing problems, asthma, COPD , etc? Or maybe you're mad at the fact that you've wasted literally THOUSANDS of dollars on cleaning supplies that aren't doing their job. You like to dust and clean all the time? OK that's fine and I respect that, however you can't be mad at a product/company that HELPS PEOPLE SAVE MONEY! Everytime you buy a cleaning system that isn't a FQ you're wasting money, every time you clean you're wasting time. So who are you really mad at?

Health-mor has been around since 1928...not the building you went to for an interview.
