    They scammed my wife took our vaccum left theirs she got denied for financing yhey came back to get theirs but wouldnt give ours back yhey made several attempts threw ours and broke it stormed into my house pushed over my 1 yr olx 7 mnt pregnant wife and took their stuff called the police they bailed out the back door and jumped the fence to get away their lucky I didnt get here

    Funny I worked there for about a month and didn't get paid a dime. Get real job your a independent contractor which means they don't have to pay you [***] or provide you with benefits. Plus they markup their prices ridiculously get a real job!!!!!

    My Dad answered the door, where there was a man representing Healthtek, doing a survey on air quality.  The man asked 3 questions, the first being about having allergies, the other 2 didn't even relate to air quality.  Then he asked my Dad for his phone # and whether he's married or not.  The guy also gave my Dad a ticket for a draw (which I now have beside me).  It says "You are now registered.  Shopping Spree Winner!  $20,000 CASH SHOPPING SPREE.  Plus Special Prizes Given Daily."  If this draw were legit, there should be a lottery license # on the ticket.  Plus, Healthtek isn't even accredited with the BBB, despite being in business since 1928!  The whole thing reeks of a scam.  Thanks to all of you who have vented your negative experiences with Healthtek on this site.  You have really helped to inform me and my family.

    I answered a telephone "survey" after being told there was "no obligation" Next thing I know. I get a call telling me  I won a "random" draw and won a prize. After I selected a prize, I was asked if I was home and could one of their reps come and deliver the "prize" and... after a sales spiel, accept the product into my home, AND then try to sell it to my friends and neighbors. I very politely declined at that point, and suggested they pass my "PRIZE" on to somebody else.

    It was less than a week later that a very nice young man showed up at my doorand tried the same story, except this time he actually gave me a paper ticket telling me my name was in a "Draw I gave them my Fax number in hopes it would stop them, but I got FOUR calls in one day. I finally answered the call in hopes of telling them to leave me alone.tellingl them to leave me alone. When I told the caller to take me off the list I was told "you don't have to be rude, YOU agreed to the survey"  Hmmm who was rude?? After I told them to NOT call me back, I called the number in hopes of speaking to somebody in charge. to tell them to STOP  and of course I got the same person.  When I repeated that I had received four calls in one day, not counting the ones I got over the weekend, she AGAIN told me I didn't have to be rude. Then she tried to suggest that "if somebody knocks on your door, maybe you should listen to what they say before you give out your phone number: Then she proceeded to talk to me like I was a child who didn't know how to behave with adults.
    I asked her what her name was, and her first response was that she already told me that when she answwred the call.I asked her to repeat it it, and she then repeated out to me like I didn't understand. Her name is MARLA. (See, I got it right). The first time I talked to her was shortly after my last call from MARLA at 8:56 PM MT. I called back not long after that. I have phone records that show I have received calls from HEALTHTEK  every day since I innocently answered a phone survey.

    I usually ignore calls from businesses like you, especially after I was told there was "no obligation" then I am asked to sell your product for you. I can ignore that. BUT I do not tolerate being told not to be "rude" when I ask your "caller to pleas not call me any more. When I called back, I tried to be polite, and explain. and she told me again that "you don't have to be rude". Is this the person you want answering your phones, or making your "no obligation" calls? I hope not!

    As it stands right now, I am reporting Health Tek to the BC. Better business Bureau, and the BC RCMP for telephone scamming.

    I wish you all and Miss Marla luck in all your future scams. Just don't try to call me!!

    Just an aside to my previous post. When I Goggled "HealthTek Entpr" I was sent to this site. What does that tell us?? SCAM SCAM!!  BC RCMP be prepered to investigate :)

    This person called my husband last week while I was away.  Three calls later, they are coming to help our family with asthma problems.  I met the lady at the door and told her to take a hike and not come back and to please take our name off the list.  Wouldn't let them talk to my husband again.  They called about an hour later wanting to set up another appointment.  Again wouldn't talk to me.  But insisted on talking to my husband.

    These people come to you house with cards with free give aways. Then following day the call from 604 520 1742 a BC  number.
    They tell you that this is an air purification system and would like to show you and then set up a time.

    When you ask them for more info the are vague and say you will see at appointment.

    Sudbury replies to not pleased
    I had a guy stop by my house yesterday with the 2 question air quality survey. Gave him my name & number and didn't think anything of it. The number called today saying I won the daily prize (wine glasses, BBQ kit or car kit) and asked when they could come by, I made the appt for 330pm. It's now 430 and no one came by. After reading all these posts, I think I'll be passing on the "short" demo and prize!!

    As someone who's worked on the other side of the line, I'd strongly encourage you to treat us like human beings. We're working 40 hours a week just like you are to make ends meet. If you feel no inclination to buy, just say so.

    Bottom line--the person on the other line is a human being, just try remember that and keep your cool.

    Maybe YOU should try and remember you are self inviting yourself into people lives when they don't want you.

    Being a human is one thing.. But don't expect to get anything less than cr@p from people YOU CHOSE TO ANNOY DAILY..

    That's like a garbage man complaining about the smell.. It's part of the job sweetheart.  
    If you can't handle the heat... get outta the kitchen.

    The more cold callers that get the hint, maybe the public can have their phones back!

    Tired of these calls....
    I took a survey a couple of weeks ago and now I am getting bugged constantly by people calling me (which I don't answer btw). You people need to get a better job...move on to your next victim. My phone has blocked this number!!!

    We had an elderly relative who passed away last year. He was charged about $35 monthly on his credit card from "Filter Queen Coquitlam BC". We phoned them and they stonewalled and provided no information what the charge was for, if anything was owed, who we were talking to etc. Just "The charge will be cancelled and not appear next month." Either they are very inept communicators. If not, the monthly charge, which has been going on for years, smells like fraud.
