- mo reeveIhave received 57 calls from these people since Oct 31 to Dec 1that is a bit on the rediculous side if you ask me and I will not pay any collection agency I will pay the person or account directly that I have any debt with. These people need to stop calling and harassing me about my accounts my husband is an over the road trucker and if his wheels don't move we have no income and when medical emergencies come about or the truck breaks down we have to pay for it out of pocket.
the numbers that have called me from this company are 866-415-1991, 636-947-2321, and 800-521-3236.- Caller: client services

- MoGilb| 1 replyMy caller ID says Private Name, which to me would be an indication that
I won't bother answering. However, my wife answered and when I heard that
she was being queried about whatever, I interrupted her and asked for the phone.
There was a man and when I asked him how I could help him, he stated that the
call was for my wife (her name) only and that he couldn't divulge the nature of the
call. (my wife stated that he told her he was representing Bank of America), I
informed him that neither of us had ever done business with BofA, don't do do now,
and won't in the future...and the conversation is over! I hung up.
Now for the reason I'm posting this: When I went online, I immediately saw this
little video which explains how to block these calls right from most phones. I tried it
and it worked, so I'm passing the URL on to everyone else. Hopefully, your phone has
the same built in features (I didn't even know that mine did) and maybe you can block
some of these calls; at leas those that call you from the same number, over and over.
Good luck! And, by the way, we don't owe anyone, so if they were bill collector, they called
the wrong number.- Caller: No Sure Said "Private Name"

Sorry about that! - P'd offThese a**holes are beyond annoying. Got into a heated argument with the guy on the other end about WHY he couldn't tell me why he wanted to speak to my wife. I said you can tell me or [***] the hell off. FCC will be getting notified about these jerks.

- Ex-Collection Agency Employee replies to collectorThank you, Client Services Employee but:
Lie # 1 (Collection Agencies) are hired by the bank that loans you the money.
The Truth: Client Services (and other 3rd level debt collection agencies) purchase debts that are written off by the banks. They attempt to recoup their purchase payment by contacting the debtor directly. They are usually aggressive, desperate and just plain dumb in their attempts to make their money back and will use laughably obvious ways to do so, including (but not limited to) calling your neighbors and telling them that you've won a valuable prize and to contact them immediately to collect.
Lie #2 If you don't pay client services, then the origional creditor will sue you. Straight up.
The Truth: Absolute nonsense. Banks have absolutely no interest in pursuing debtors in court. The process is costly and time consuming. They write off those losses and take the tax deduction. The banks recover some of the money by selling their debts to "bottom-feeder" collection agencies. There is a statute of limitation in most states of 3 to 5 years on most bank debts. Collection Agencies are literally and legally powerless to collect anything from you without your consent or agreement, so they usually try to scare the money out of you. Everything and anything a collection agency will tell you in order to collect is a desperate attempt to recoup their purchase money. Ignore them. - LabMomI reseed 3 phone calls from these people in 1 hour. No exaggeration. They knew my name and telephone number as it is listed publicly. They ask me if I knew the person that lives 2 houses down from me and gave me their name and address. I said I did not know them personally. They wanted me to go knock on their door or leave a note for them to call Client services. They also said they were going to call me later that day to see if I did it. I told them that I pay my bills and I don't appreciate having a bill collector call me when I haven't done anything wrong. I also said my neighbors debt is none of my business.
Can it even be legal that they are harassing me when this is not my debt? They have called my house 2 more times but have not left messages.- Caller: client services

- K. ReneeThey keep calling my home and cell number. I do not have any debts and wont answer their calls. They are now leaving threatening messages such as they are sending the police over. Well...go ahead...I have a family full of attorneys and judges!!! I'm just waiting to "sue" someone! Seriously....do not give them any information. They have tried calling my parents....my dad told them where to go...and it wasn't church.

- JPGuy claimed he was with FIA financial services for Bank of America. He called ME but then proceeded to tell me that he needed to verify it was me and asked me for my birthdate and I gave it to him. He then said yes that's what I have on file which sounded really odd to me and then HE ASKED ME FOR MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER! Are you kidding me?! H3ll no I'm not giving out my social security number over the phone!!! Yes it was only my last 4 digits but that's the most important part! The other numbers are easily attainable because they're sequenced by state and year you were born which he had just gotten my birthday from me in the last question. Plus he never said the "this is in an attempt to collect a debt" like they're Federally obligated to if this is why he was calling me (I still have no idea why I got this call) but I was told that a bank will NEVER ask you for your social security number over the phone cuz they already have it and to immediately hang up so that's what I did!

- DummiesBy the dummies. If ur dumb to answer then tell the [***] that whoever they asked for is no longer at thiss number. I've done that many times and they never called back
- chuckThese people have called us and we haven't answered. We just received a call from our neighbor telling is this same number has called them asking them for information about us. Highly illegal practice and they will be reported to the FTC by us. I suggest doing the same thing.
