Woman called from this number about job I applied for and she asked if I'm able to get online and I said depends on what she needs and she hung up on me!!!!!!!!!! HUGE RED FLAG!!!!!! DON'T EVER ANSWER THESE PEOPLE. SCAM SCAM

This is the cpmpany that called.  I got a call from them to and I called teh number that was on my caller ID and got right through.  All seems legit.

Yep..received call this afternoon but I was unavailable to answer...glad that I did not. I, too, have been applying online for some type of factory work. They inquired about continuing education with the application. I quit half way through the education information. I mostly put that I was interested in further education, etc because I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT. I was hoping this place would be flexible with their hours for when I do go back to school later this year. I am tired of being screwed over!

Received a call this morning from this number and missed it due to a meeting that I was in. Called back after reading a few of these post. Got through right away and spoke with a representative who needed to verify that I was still looking for a job. Told me that I was being reconsidered for a position that I applied for back in Oct. and now here it is Feb.

I can tell you that I am a former employee of "Employment Select".  This is indeed a scam.  These jobs DO NOT exist.  Employment Select is a division of the Career Network.  Career Network is based out of Orlando, FL and those "representatives" that call you are people that sit at home and call you.  Again, these jobs DO NOT EXIST.  DO NOT ANSWER!!!

I too fill out an online application and they said they would e-mail me back. A couple of days later I received a call from the same number. There was no pause in his voice when I answered. Asked me my salary requirements, if I had a computer and when could I start. Told me the job was local and that I had a foot in the door and would receive a phone call in a few days.Could not tell me the name of the company because they did not want phone calls. All temp agencies say this. Confuseed, dont know what to think, hope for the best.  This job is suppose to be in Anderson, Indiana. Will let you know if I receive a phone call.

I just received a call from this number. I picked up but no one would answer so I just hung up. Hmmm.....

I have received two calls from the same company at the 646 number and they have given me another number to call of 3212491490.  They said they screen people for jobs for their clients but when you talk to them they talk about furthering you education.  I also wonder if this is a scam.  Has anyone reported this to the ag's office, or better business bureau? How can this legally be allowed its misrepresentation if they say they are screening for clients?

646-520-0696 Called this morning at 9:01 am, I answered and a machine told me to hold for a representative. They had me on hold for like 5 minutes. I didn't feel like it was legit, so I hung up. Obviously a scam.

I just got a call from this number and I answered it and said "Hello" three times but nobody answered and then they hung up after 6 seconds.

Got a call from this number while I was on the phone.  No message.  Called back and sat in a hold queue for about 3 minutes.  Transfered the call to my hold queue and started reading the above comments.  About 2 minutes later the call disconnected.  I guess they liked my hold music about as much as I liked theirs.

I just recieved the same call and situation was similar as everyone else. I tryed to look up the number and it was coming from New York and I don't understand why they are calling.

someone's description on here about a posting through yahoo hotjobs for a company name that was confidential and someone else posting about career networks caught my eye. i just got a call from this number and earlier this week tried applying for a job listed company confidential through yahoo hotjobs, it redirected me to hourglass jobs and the application was cumbersome with all sorts of continuing education questions, i stopped the application process because it just didn't seem quite right. i later got an email telling me i qualified and to please finish the application, the link took me to career network and again, similar (yet different) cumbersome application process. and now the phone call (and seeing others responses) makes me think this is a scam and a way to phish for information. i will be blocking the #. if an employer wants an interview with me, they can call and schedule it directly.

I dont think its fair that an organization thats supose to be legit, to have my information and i dont know there's. Im going to investigate and expose them for the deceptive persons they are. I going to make sure they go strait to jail without collecting.
