This same idiot has called me and left several disparaging messages.  I am not even the person they are in search of, if that person even exists.  They also left a threatening message on my voicemail today (20 Apr 2010) and I have notified authorities and am going forward with a civil suit.  Something has got to be done about their behavior.  I pray that this matter will be settled expediently in my favor because the threat left nothing to the imagination of what they was going to do to me.

This company started calling me about a week ago, and the calls have become more frequent over the last few days and the abuse more severe than the last call.  Told they would get me fired from my job, turn me over to the IRS, have an arrest warrant put out for me.  Wanted my bank account information before they would even disclose any infromation on the debt i supposedly owed.  Who in there RIGHT mind would give that information.  The language they use is vulgar to say the least.  They even strarted calling and hanging up from an Unknown number after i told them GO TO HELL!  They told me i was being recorded.  LIE, because if they are recording it would be there ASS on the line not mine.  I filed a complaint with the Federal Fair Trade Commission they gave me a REF# and told me to write a certified letter demanding them to stop calling me.  I also reported them to Orange County District Attorneys office for being a Scam operation.  I  also filed a complaint with the BBB of California on the same day.  If you get calls from these guys just hang up, because what you are about to hear come out of their mouths will SHOCK you, to say the least.

Have received calls from this number & various others from the same area code over the past week.  different people leaving messages but always rude, nasty & threatening.  

Today there were 2 messages one "regarding my Colorado property" and the other regarding "my florida property".  Funny thing is, I don't own any property in either of those states!  Has to be a total con, I will be contacting FTC, BBB and any other agency that will listen on Monday...

These scumbags just called my wife claiming to be attorneys collecting a bad debt
she owed. They refused to identify themselves and threatened her with a "bench Warrant"
for her arrest if she did not cooperate and give her the information they demanded.

She informed them that she believed they were in violation of FDPA laws and not to call
again as she was keeping a log and recording any future calls received and then hung up
as the verbal harassement continued.  Should they keep working this scam we will sue and report
to all authorities. We urge other victims to do the same.

keep getting these calls no clue why they want me. the refuse to give the name of the company.

These guys called me several times looking to speak to my dad (my mom had given them my cell by accident).  They told me my dad was due in court in a few days otherwise there would be a warrant out for his arrest - due to a payment he owes on a house on Trenton Rd (which is total BS).  I believe the guy's name was Don Cherry (or Terry), and hilariously he told me that now it's my job to get the $$ from my dad or I will be in trouble.  He said threateningly, "I'm sorry, but this is on you now.  Good luck..."

They keep calling me, my son, and my ex-wife about some bogus real-estate property that I supposedly bought. I yelled, cursed, threatened to sue, etc. Now I am just ignoring  it. Don't give them ANY personal information at all!

calls seven or eight times in a row,very rude when told who they were calling for wasn't there. Really pissin me off!!!

This company is calling relatives out of state harassing and intimidating them and me. The so-called staffer is Steve Dangelo and another is Brian. He called me a thief and said since I declared bankruptcy in 2003 I was a loser and am a habitual thief. He said he was coming to visit me in San Francisco along with 20 or so other deadbeats and that they would extract the money from me, no matter what. He called again today saying I had until 2pm to agree to paying them or they would sue me.

hey just got a call from these people. I have also blocked thier number on my phone. They are looking for an ex brother in law. who NEVER and Will NEVER live at my address they called back and wanted his last kknow address & phone.If you get enough information on them you can write to your state attorney general about the harrassing calls and they can take over. I have done this before and the calls stopped for a very long time. I guess its time to write again.

I used to get a call from this number 2-3 times a day looking for a DIFFERENT person each time.  I tell them that they have the wrong number but they don't believe me and think I'm the one they are looking for.  I have also told them that they ask for someone different each time and that they need to stop calling this number, but they refuse and keep calling!

They called me saying they were going to serve me i said do it and hung up about an hour later they called me at work and siad to process servers were on the way to serve me papers who should they bring them to me or my boss I started laughing and said bring them to me [***].

These people have been calling me for several weeks now but I never answered until the other day. They were looking for my husband's ex wife. She must have put our number down as a reference when applying for credit that she has now defaulted on. I told them that and told them I didn't know how to contact her and to please take us off their calling list. The calls stopped for a few days but now they are coming several times a day. I just don't pick up. Doesn't sound like they will go away after reading all these blogs! I have heard of collection agencies willing to pay you money to give them information about the person they are looking for. That would be paybacks for listing us as a reference in the first place! She really had no right!!!! My husband and I have been married for 12 years so I'm guessing she did this since their divorce. I'm pissed!

Don Terry has been calling our company for an employee who hasn't worked here since Dec. 2007.  I do believe the employee defaulted on her home loan because we've had other calls about it. However, we can't reach her so it's pointless to call us. I tell him this and "he" keeps calling back. I believe it is several different people using the name Don Terry. Their info is horribly out of date

I got calls from this boiler room scam company. World Wide Associates 714-380-5875 and spoke with more than one caller who were rude and not helpful. Argued with someone on 10/15/10 and then found out online that WWA or World Wide Recovery 714-380-5875 is a scam room. Found the name Don Terry online and left him a Voice Mail message to stop calling for Doreen at my phone number.  Then called for Robert Patrick and was asked for a Case Number: They put me on hold and tried to figure out who I was. I hung up after a few minutes.  Jerks!

The person who called my cell phone sounded as though he was using something to muffle his voice and it sounded intimidating. He gave me until tomorrow mroning at 10:00 to call him or he could not help me.

I received a call from steve deangelo from this #. He told me he was collecting on an HSBC mastercard i had a few years back. He never mentioned how much the debt was or the company he worked for. the only info he seemed to have was my credit report. I owe this debt but i am paying it off through the legitimate collection agency that has billed me. About a week before "steve" called i received an email from HSBC about someone trying to log into this old account. Their phishing dept is investigating. Since steve didn't seem to know how much i owe i can only assume he picked something off my credit report and went to the original creditor's website to get the info so he sounded legit. he was very rude and abusive and said the process server would be at my door later in the day. i have been served before and know the process takes several weeks. he also called family members looking for info. What a loser. Nobody pay him. he is stealing from people

This guy, Steve D'Angelo apparently has been calling me for a few days now. He has not called my personal phone at all, but he has been calling my main office at work.  Today he called and left a threatening message telling me that "he was not here to play phone tag, and if I want to keep this outside my work place, than have the curtiousy to return his phone call or it will not be in my best interest."  I am not sure who this *sshole is, but I did not appreciate the threat!!!! What can be done about this?
