Got a call on my cell but I did not answer it, I don't recognize the number.  Didn't even leave a message.  Must have been a wrong number or unimportant phone call.

Macy's & Bloomingdale's collections. Probably from India.
Starts with "Please hold for and important call".

I received a call from this number on 2-26-08 and then today, 2-28-08. When I called it back I could not understand what they were saying.

I received a call, tried to call back and the ph. company message was that a call to that number could not be made.

Received a call from this number March 6 during lunch.
Said to hold for an important call.   A woman asked if I
was "some name" when I said it was a wrong number,  she asked
for my number for verification.   I hung up.

I have recieved 3 calls from this number. I had forgoten to turn off my cell phone as is habit when I get home. I recieved one call at 11:30pm (centeral time) by the time I answered they had diconected leaving a voice message I was not able to understand the person. I have not returned the calls nor do I intend to nor answer when they call back. I dont have a Maceys card never have. I dont have store cards. I seldom shop there and use my mastercard when I do.

Can you say phone phishing!!! Indifference always works for me! Just ignore the calls and the messages, eventually it'll stop if they don't achieve their goal, right??

FACS is the ID that came up on my caller ID. The number 1-727-556-7300 was there as well. No one left a message and I did not recognize the number so I did not answer the phone.
I called the number back and was placed on hold for someone who would be right with me. I was left on hold for five minutes so I hung up!

727-556-7300 called 3 times. I don't answer numbers I don't know. The first 2 times didn't leave a message, but on the 3rd time they did saying to call their toll free number 1-800-545-1256 about an "important business matter". I could barely understand what the guy was saying.

These calls are from a call center in India for Macys Collections.

I have no account with Macys and the number I'm getting the calls at is a new one from a Cable Company

Great company, they buy all their crap from the third world and now hire third world folks to harass the innocent.

Naturally when you call the above number you get a machine.

Don’t just hang up, do this-
First they ask for an account number, just say “I don’t know”
It will then prompt you to enter your SS#- Type in 9 0’s
Then a prompt will tell you to say “transfer” to get to a real voice.

Explain to this person what is going on and be sure to give thee offending number.

If we all do this whenever we have a chance we might get some help.

These [***] won't stop calling!!!
I haven't answered them once, but they still never stop.
I'm thinking about just changing tel companies.
It's really annoying!

Harassing calls from this number.

I as well keep getting these stupid calls on my cell phone.  First it started out with Macy's calling w/ some weird 800 number.  Now, I'm getting the 727 number.  I just don't answer until they stop.  At least w/ the 800 number that's what happened.  They eventually stopped.  My question is, how do they get our numbers?

They've called me seven times a day for the past month! I haven't been picking up. When I finally got so angry I did pick up, the call hung up!

The call me all the friggin time. My name is Gregory and they ask for " GeorgeOR-I" Macy's is annoying since I'm not even that late on my payment and they call me sometimes 10 times a day.

macys and bloomingdales and maybe some other dept. stores are owned by the same company. I got calls from this number every day as early as 8 am. one day after my payment due date. I answered once during the day and got a voice from India. told him not to ever call again but they keep calling. nuisance. anyone know where this can be reported? it is illegal in USA to call for collection before 9:00 am.

THE PERSON HANGS UP WHEN I ANSWER

i keep receiving calls from this number for a person who does not live at our address or phone number. we have asked several times to be removed from their call list they say they will and have not yet. does anyone know how we can solve this? who we could possibly report them to?
