Thanks to poster Tom,who wrote the following. It works apparently,as I was told my number would be removed. I have had my number for a year-and-a-half, but apparently they had it linked to a person who had it before me. I do not have a MACY*s account. I was told it is definitely a numbher being used by their collections center in India.

This is very annoying and costly as well.  The voice mail is all music!  Just running up my minutes.
Can't they be stopped?

We keep getting calls from this number almost every day!! Tired of it!!

I keep getting this call and no one leaves a message.  I have even answered and no one answers. It's really irritating.

I agree it is a PIA....no messg, unable to make contact.....it is Macy's credit card collection center.  I had forgot to pay my macy's card and 7 days later I got 22 phone calls in 3 days from this company...sound like harassment?  It is.  I paid the payment....hope not to see the number again.

this number is to boring me every day. I do'nt know who is calling me and then I don't any account in some store or werehouse. Please can they stopped to boring me every day at the morning!

Same with us.  Constant calls starting at 8 or so daily.  Never a message.  Not going to answer it.

My cell phone keeps getting calls from this number, I answered once, they asked if I was " ..", whoever, can't even understand the name she asked, I said no and to stop calling this number, she said sorry and they would take this number off their list.  Yeah, right...negative.  they're still calling, so irra's. I'm changing my number, its a secondary phone anyway.

They call me 10 times a day. Never are there when I pick up. Make them stop!

I recently got a landline through my cable company and these people started calling me a few times a day (usualy when I was at work).  It didnt bother me bc I was at work, but then the calls started to increase in frequency and started to happen earlier and later in the day, until this weekend I was woken up at 8:00 AM and that royally ticked me off.  Instead of wasting my time calling Macy's or trying to talk to these people at this call center, I just placed the number on my list of "blocked" numbers.  So try doing that.  If they are calling you on a cell phone then you may not be able to block them, but if it is a landline then you should be able to and depending on the company that you get your cable through, it may not cost you any money (TWC does not charge for it).

This number calls constantly, then when you pick up they don't answer! So I call the number back, you are put on hold with music, then they disconnect you!

This is not Macys or Bloomingdales! This is a phishing scam. DO NOT answer this call! The number is registered to a man in Washington DC with a Florida phone number, but the calls are actually being made from India. I am calling Corporate for Macys Department stores to make them aware of the situation.

THIS COMPANY MUST BE A FRAUD COMPANY. THEY CALL ALL HOURS O THE DAY AND NIGHT.

They keep calling me. Problem is there nobody on the other line. Is there any way to get them to stop?

I have been receiving calls from this number 3 to 4 times a day and they never stop.  I answered once and all there was at the other end was music and then a hang up.  The telephone provider I have cannot do anything since it is a published #.  The National do-not-call agency says that they can not do anything and If I think it is a scam then I should report it to the Dept. Of Fraud.  I just don't get what's behind all these calls. Wish I knew!

I get around 5 calls a day from this number, it's been going on for a little more than a week. Really annoying...

We recieve phone calls from this number from 8:am to 8:pm several times a day, when we have tried to answer it they hang up when we let it ring it only rings two or three times and they hang up, this is becoming annoying and completely unprofessional, I want it to stop right now.
