I got called earlier today.. thank goodness I don't pick up the phone for numbers that I don't know.

Received this call several times, haven't answered and wont.

I just received a call from a guy and he asked for someone I don't know.  I'm at work, can't really talk so I said "Who?" and then told him he had the wrong number. He said "What, are you deaf or sumpin'? Nevermind, I'll call back later" and he hung up.

I have been getting calls from these mud dobbers for a few years. Trust me, I have no debt.  Reason I am posting today, they have called my entire family and told them I was being sued for some debt.  They even called my son in law.  I have uncomfortable feelings about that, how in the hell did they get his number?  My name is not on anything of his nor do I call him from my cell phone much,,, maybe once a year.

I never answer and yes they do use many different numbers as well as private or unknown.  They are well knowlegeable about phone harassment.  And yes they do know that calling is illegal.  The law states, bill collectors can only contact you by mail and mail ONLY.

Who are these bottom feeders? These type of gutter scum should be in prison. They are trying to fleece money out of anyone they can by using baseless threats and lies--do not answer and report these parasites to the authorities.

I got a call from this number but it came through as 11-757-961-3544. They never said anything when I picked up, so hopefully there was some issue with the call going through. I really don't want these scammers calling me over and over!

They are a collection company. Generally medical collections. More than likely you are getting the call because you didn't pay a medical bill, and they bought the debt. I had a $55 medical bill that I never knew about, talked to them and settled for $15.

Good thing I have who are you app on my Android said spam clearly so I hit ignore.
Guess either they had wrong number,  or are not legal cause no message was left.

Same issues here.  A debt cleared in bankruptcy years ago is haunting me now.  Not owed but I cannot get this company off my back.

I have received many calls from 757-961-3544 and do reject when this call comes in.

missed call on my Daughters cell phone! on 6/17/2013 at 7:26pm  this has been while since they called her. the last time the threaten her! saying she owed money.

That's easy for someone to say who works for them. This number called me and I've never had debt in my life. Never had a credit card in my life, either. This has scam written all over it. If it was legitimate, a message would be left with return information. It is illegal to call from any "debt collection agency" without providing valid credentials and contact information. Don't defend your own scam.
