calls 2 or 3 times a day.  Been over a year now!

757 961-3544 keeps calling -- no stated reason.  I have asked them to STOP calling .... they won't.  The last recorded time they called was at 8:07 5/16/11.  It is ILLEGAL to make "so called" business calls ...... they have been told CHILDREN LIVE IN THE HOUSE & THEY ARE WAKING THEM UP!!!

I do not owe these people any money.  I have asked them to stop calling MY PHONE.

Portfolio Recovery Service...Says they're collecting on closed account from 1997.  Past statute of limitations and never even belonged to me.  They have no information they can send you.  They purchase old debts and try to collect on them.  Here are other numbers they also call from:

I have blocked these numbers and continue to block every number they call on.

These scumbags have called my house almost 200 times,, but I've never answered the phone. My answering machine handles that and does not give any information. Recently, for a while, these scumbags  spoofed their number since I had unknown calls blocked; however, the morons left a message on my answering machine identifying themselves. Talk about stupid. I have kept a record of each call and plan to talk to an attorney about whether the constant calls and recorded messages stating they are trying to collect a debt meet the definition of extortion.  Since I have no past due debts and have a clean credit record with all three credit companies, I think their actions fit the definition of  attempted extortion. If I sue, I want to nail their [***] to a cross for good.

I get a call from Portfolio Recovery a few times a day.  I seldom answer anymore.  They are calling regarding a credit card debit they say I have from Michigan, but won't (or they say can't) send me anything in writing because I live in Canada now.

Call me almost everyday!  I have voicemail if I do not know who is calling vm picks up.  I am just going to let my vm fill up.  Right now I have 15 messages.  I wonder how many messages I need to have a full vm box, hmm??  Then no on can leave a message.  I have my cell and anyone who is anyone can contact me through that number.

This company calls everyday.  I know it is them so I don't answer.  They use so many different numbers but they're in a pattern.  Most are 8XX and now the 757 numbes.  I don't know why they are calling cause I don't have anything xcept for something over 20 years old from my first marriage.  I never answer calls from numbers and id's I don't know.  My friends will leave a msg or someone who needs to talk with me, these people don't leave messages.  Don't answer unless you just want to have fun and give them a hard time.

I just simply tell them to call my attorney ( http://www.empoweringthepowerless.com ), And they just say "Oh, you have an attorney?" and that's pretty much the end of the convo

You must be bo bo the fool, they buy dept that is beyond the statute of limitations, you were a fool for dealing with them plus it is going to stay on your credit report another 7 years when it most likely came off. By making an agreement with them you caused it to go back on the CR. The statute of limitations on old debt is 7 years you should have ignored them. on Texas a company has only 4 years to sue a debter.

Get a FAX machine and hook it directly to the same line as your phone with a splitter,set it to go to fax at the second ring, the noise of the fax on the line will drive them crazy and when it prints out you willl have a paper copy of the call as proff to turn into your states attorney general.

I just got a call from Portfolio Recov 757-961-3544 and they asked to talk to my husband and when I said he wasn't home they just hung up on me and they been calling and calling and calling for a while now I just wish they would stop but I can't do anything to stop the calls I got really mad when they call our house at 11:00 at night

Time Line Communications conned me into$2000 on a public service community ad on WVON FM out in Oak Park Il. Nobody can even hear in central Chicago. Two of their reps came to my place of business and tried to Sopprano me into paying. When I told them I couldn't afford to, the contacted the health department and had me shut down.

I am sick of these people, 85% of the time they asked for someone else. Then the other 15% of the time they ask for someone else, me and this is getting old Couldn't all of us get a lawyer together and class action his or her ass.

What they do must be illegal.

I had same phone conversation about the unverified debt and informed them that without any proof of debt that our conversation was over until I was shown proof. They sent me a postcard with their name on it and the past debtor that they had received the supposed debt from. Never have I seen anything showing that this is my debt in any way. I continue to receive calls but mostly ignore them or hang up.
