Same number here no message left. We don't answer calls we don't recognize but I have dealt with these portfolio jokers before. I was calm and polite while informing them that my "debt" didn't exsist until they because nasty and rude to me. Anyway we can get this harassment to stop?!

Called my job at 1:20PM.  The called before on Sept 27.I don't answer out of state numbers I don'r recognize.  I do not accept personal call at my job.  They don't leave a voice message.  Need to quit wasting their time. I am not answering and I definite don't answer calls when the number is not listed.  I have better things to do.  Stop call my job.  You will get zero$$$.

I have received about 50 calls from Portfolio Recovery with many different phone #'s and caller id's

I live in the Norfolk area, I can confirm PRA is a legitimate company. The do collections for quite a few car credit companies, cable providers, insurance providers, cell phone companies as well as a few loan companies.

Yes they are a collection company, but being legitimate is another matter. Since you probably are an agent for them doing damage control I would guess you have seen all the lawsuits pending in the different states for FRAUD! They buy old debt and try and collect on them for pennies on the dollar. The bad thing is they are allowed to do business because they are an employer and pay taxes. Also sadly as a collection business they are exempt from the Do-not-call list which gives them power to harrass you, but they still cannot call a cell phone or call you at work if you tell them to stop after the inital call , which is still against the law. In my opinion don't waste your time with the FCC, instead file a complaint with your states Attourney General's office and add your name to their ever growing list against PRA.

Also received several calls which I blocked with my Comcast which by the way did not resolve the problem as they had more pho#s than I had blocked calls. I decided to complain to my Sate Attorney General which wrote a letter to them. They said that I was not the person they were looking for and blocked my number from their data base. No more phone calls

These people have called my number at least 15 different times. Like everyone else, I attempt to answer but they hang up. I am reporting this to my carrier and asking them to block the 757 area code. I would suggest that anyone else who has experienced this, call their carrier and block the area code from making contact with your residential phone. So far, they have been unable to contact my cell phone. You can call 888-382-1222 to block this number from calling you

Prank caller

Have received 69 calls just from this number.  Have a list of other numerous ph.numbers that they call from.  Don´t answer calls from numbers I don´t know or that say unknown caller.  Don´t they realize by now that I have caller ID.  These calls are very harassing every day.  Some one needs to do something about this.  This is terrorism in our country done by our own  country!!   fed

I got many calls from them I never answered and they never left a message, but the worst thing is that they call at any time in the morning or in the night how we can stop them?

They continue to call all hours of the day, never leaves a message.

They call my work telephone as well as cell phone number - but I never answer and they never leave a message....so glad to know who they really are.
