Got callrd  called back busy signal  no name

I just got the same call from that CA number and I answered and spoke to a woman who said they had low interest rate offers.  They asked me for some info, and tried to say that they had to "qualify me" before transferring me to the financial specialist- to lower my rate
they asked me my credit limit, expiration date, credit card type and then asked for my cc #.
when i told them that i wouldnt give them my info- the supervisor got on the call and he seriously told me that it was safe to give them my cc# and that they couldn't actually use my credit card- but they needed the info. to proceed wiht the offer.  that's when i todl them they must take me for an idiot and that there was no way in HELL i was giving them my info- then i hung up.  criminal.

When I answered there was no response.  Called back twice (once from a different phone) and it was busy.  Thoughts are with those below - SCAM!

Yet another scam and where and what is the Do Not Call Registry doing about these scammers, anyway?

called me, didn't pick up, called back - no answer.

Called my cell while I was driving.  I am on the "Do Not Call List" for this cell number.

Just noticed they called an hour ago, no message.  I will not call back.

Scam - the recorded message you hear is that you must hurry to be able to lower your credit card interest rate.
Find these scumbags and remove them from the gene pool.

I got a call from this number and immediately Who calls me It since it had a LONG DISTANCE area code. I didnt pick up!! I love have the ability to screen calls this way!!!

Called my cell phone, and my camera went off. Even our cell phones are not safe.

A real credit card company will identify that they are calling on behalf of that company and not ask you to call them back. Also, a real credit card company probably would not call you to offer lower interest rates. Why would they call you to get less of your money? Unlikely.

I just got a the same automated message when I answered this call. Don't call back. Don't give them any info.

I knew this was a scam from the start - gotten two many of these types of calls and no way to stop.  I played along for a little bit not giving any info but asking questions then the caller gave me the most honest answer I have ever gotten from one of these.   In frustration he said "all I want is your credit card information and I don't give a [***] about you" and he hung up - lol - wish there was something the gov could do to shut these scams down

VERY heavy foreign accent (right this told me this was a scam)

Scammers don't care about the DNC

Just received a call from this number and did not recognize so I did not pick up.  I am also on the do not call list.  I am glad that I came to this site.

got a call from them also on cell phone,did'nt get to phone on time but if they call back I record all my calls,he,he ,and I tell them that,lol

Answered the call, listened to the message stating they could reduce my credit card interest rate...funny, since I don't have any credit cards.  I pressed 1 to get to an operator, she answered and said the name of the company was "Credit Card Services".  When I asked to be removed from their call list, she hung up.  When I tried to call back, of course, it is a busy signal.  WHAT A SCAM!!!  STAY AWAY!!!

I did a number reverse look up, and this is where the number is located, but thats the only information I got.

this number called and I was immediatly worried.  I pressed 1 to speak to a representative and this young sounding male answered with "credit card services".  The call was immediatly disconnected and I tried calling back with just a busy signal.  I got online and looked up this number and saw this page.
