They have been calling for months, just a recording asking if I am someone else if so press 1 if not press 2, I was pressing 2 at first, nothing, so now I don't even answer. It's my personal cell phone that they are calling.

Called here twice this morning. Once at 8:09 AM - this is SATURDAY! Called back at 9:40 AM. I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number or the name, and UNAVAILABLE is nobody I know. Answering machine picked up both times, and the only message they left was *click*. Bunch of dummies! If it's not important enough to leave a message, then it's not important enough to concern me.

FNCB have been calling my number to search wrong person who I do not know him. FNCB called me from 775-322-0444, 775-412-4499, and unknown mode - caller ID blocking mode. If I just hang-up after seeing caller ID screen , they have used the unknown mode to call my number a few minutes later.
FNCB did not left message usually or left long reference number without speaking recipient's name.

If you suffer the same problem as me, you can try to call FNCB's toll free number 1-800-824-6191 until they remove your phone number.
It's free for you and they need to pay phone bill. You speak your message as long as possible and do not listen them. Call every minute and annoy them as they did you until they remove your phone number. They do not like toll free call for long time and so frequently.

You can file FTC complain with marking you did ask to stop calling.
You can file or complain to attorney general office or law firm, too.
We, innocent victims from FNCB, should act actively to eliminate FNCB from their weird ugly annoying unlawful business.

I wish House and Senate should make severe law to punish the firm like FNCB in order to get out from their business.
It is FNCB's responsibility to verify the name and address of new phone user before they do annoying calling so often.

I received a call from this number at about 9:10 a.m. on August 31, 2009.  It was  recorded message wherein they were trying to reach someone who doesn't live in this household. The voice on the robocall was barely audible - couldn't understand who they were asking for or what button to push to end the call and say you weren't that person.  I just hung up!

Just got a call from this number on my work cell phone.  I didn't recognize the number (I did recognize the area code as it is the code for northern Nevada) so I just let it ring to go to voicemail.  No message was left.  After reading the posts here (I wanted to see if I could find out where the number was from), I'm glad I didn't answer!

My mom received a phone call from these people, apparently asking for me, but said my last name wrong. She didn't say what account she was calling for, but if it has anything to do with Fingerhut, I've never had an account with them. Thanks for all the above info.

I listened to the caller and they asked for a person, same name as here and to press 2 if it was us. We have a very common last name and I did not pick up. Once the answering machine picked up, they hung up.

Obviously the DNC list does not work for those who insist on ignoring it.

Keep receiving calls from this phone number. Have told them repeatedly to stop calling, they have the wrong number, but continue to receive calls. I'm really thinking about blocking out our number from anyone but family. Only downfall there is if anyone is ever at a hospital or payphone, they wouldn't be able to get through......

This number has been harassing me. I have been receiving mail about some bank account I owe money on that I never even heard of. They need to be stopped! lol. Thanks for reading.

Constant calls, they hang up in voicemail, recive them 3-10 times a day

Been getting calls from this number for a few days and keep ignoring them. Finally, tonight I got fed up and decided to call the number back. Got connected to someone and he proceeded to tell me that it was First National Collections and they were calling on behalf of a delinquent First Merit credit account. I haven't had a First Merit line of credit since I was 18 years old. About 2/3 of the way through the conversation as I was telling him he had his information completely wrong, First Merit suddenly turned into First Financial, also which I don't have an account with. He proceeded to tell me that I should pull my credit report and look into this matter as quickly as possible and give them a call back to settle this debt. I told them that it wasn't my credit card and they wouldn't be hearing back from me, but something tells me the calls just aren't going to stop.

I got a call about 10am from 775-412-4499, it was an automated system asking for me to press 1 if it was me, so i did. I was then on hhold about 5-10 min, still 1/2 asleep being home sick, and a woman came on the line asking who i am. I asked her info and she refused to tell me until i gave her all mine, including asking me for my phone #. When i said they just called me she got nasty and hungup. I worked in collections for 5 yrs, these people are [***]!!

I'm shocked to learn so many other people are having this problem too. I get at least 2 calls a day from 775-412-4499 asking for Jinksy Randall. I have no idea who this is and I personally never had an account overdue. Thank you to those who posted a way to be pro-active against these people instead of just reacting with aggravation.

These people call me 4 and 5 times a day, every day   I do not owe anything to Finger Hut....they continue to call.

This number has called me 3 times within 3 hours.  I answered and its computer system asked me for someone other than me.  Instead of pressing 2 if you are not that person, a message comes on and says call 1-800-824-6191, you get a body, it is National Collection, and I told them I am not the person they are looking for and to remove me from their list.

Call ID:  Not available.  Never answer these anymore.  This ought to be a jailable offense.  These scams are everywhere and they'll hit you everyday.
