Im sick of getting calls from this number i jus wish it would stop

I got thru using some of their very own decieving tactics..I asked to speak to a manager, when a woman (Merrill) asked who I was I said I was "Inspector Merrill)...Uhm, do you think she got a hint I was playing, lol
A man by the name of Barry Gold got on the phone (ID as a manager) & of course trying to be ever so frightening with his MANLY voice asking me where & who I was. I then told him we needed to get his location so a police officer could be sent down reguarding a complaint. At that point he got extremely volatile, I had then asked if he would be as aggressive to police officers face to face as he is with me. He came back with a very nasty reply, I then told him to have a nice day & to expect the Reno, Nevada police to pay him a visit.

Ladies & Gentleman don't be intimidated by these type of people, who knows they could be the man or woman standing in line at the supermarket. Many of these agencies hire these people that call themselves proffesional to teach these debt collectors to literally play on your HUMAN spirit & feeling to make you feel guilty enough to pay a debt whether it's yours or not. I hope enough of us can put a stop to these tyrants maybe then they will get a real job.

This number called my cellphone this morning.  First time I had seen that number.  Since I didn't know who it was, I let it go to voicemail - which was nothing more than a single beep.

Company calls me multiple times per day trying to collect a debt from 1999 that I paid years ago and has fallen off my credit report anyways. I just filed a complaint with the FTC ( https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en#last ). Everyone else should do the same.

Received a call from this number - like everyone else has said, they don't leave a message.  Luckily for me, my phone service provides me with the option to block annonymous callers and can even block out specific calls.   They now receive a message automatically that states the following:  "We are sorry but the party to whom you are calling is not accepting calls that this time".

I just received a call from this company tel 775-412-4499 UNKNOWN CALLER. I tried looking t up on white pages it comes back private. How ironic! Their private I'm not. She asked me if the last 4 digits of my ss number was **** and I told her I don't give out my ss #. She got testy which made me want to know even more. After she so rudely told me what she wanted I told her I was about to become homeless she said too bad I should have managed my money better. She sucks!

whoever this is calls and hangs up.  when it goes to voicemail - hangs up .  i  don't warrant this kind of harassment.

This company has been calling several times  per day.  They are asking for someone whom I have never heard of.  It is a recorded message and I don't want to press any numbers, because I don't know if it is a scam.

Just received a call today Election Day and it was a recording telling me to hold for a REP.  Someone answered and never said anything then hung up.  I called back and someone answered.  When I asked who this was he asked if I was who I was.  I asked what is this about?  The person identified himself as Tom and he is from First National Collection Bureau out of Reno Nevada.  He asked to verify my personal info again, I refused.  He refused to tell me what the debt tell me debt he was collecting becuase I refused to verify my personal information so I hung up.  I had unpaid debt that is over 10 years old and thus uncollectable.  Waht is funny is nobody has called me in years about it.  To date I have excellent credit.  Need to check your credit report and see if anyone is doing inquiries on it then report them.  Make them affirm the debt.

I received a phone call from 775-412-4499 on my cell phone that indicates that it is a call from Nevada.  I did not catch the phone in time to answer it, but I've notice this indentical number showing up in my "missed phone calls" quite frequently.  Also, they never leave a message.

I have received a Finger Hut catalog approximately one month ago.  I threw it in the trash.  I have NEVER had an account with Finger Hut and I have never ordered anything from them.

Missed both. I wanted to check to see what it was because I have applied for some reality tv shows and they often call on my cell. Whomever it was didn't leave a voice mail. However I've gotten collection calls in the past from Fingerhut for a Vera (something I can't pronounce but frankly sounds of Spanish origins). I've asked them before to stop because my name is Jami. Apparently they didn't get the message.

I have gotten 3 calls from 7754124499 on my cell phone this morning. I, like so many others, do not answer calls from numbers that i do not recognize. The have not left a voice mail.

I have been getting these calls also..I have no outstanding bills and have never banked with wachovia..the call just says it is coming in from Reno, Nv...they call on a regular basis around the same time everyday.  We also have a policy that if we dont know the name we dont answer the call.  I plan on filing a complaint with the FTC enough is enough

got the call called back they said i was in debt and they said my name was something so random.. menawhile im a 14yo boy who doesnt have any  debts and lives with my parents.. there so stupid

We got the first phone call last night. We didn't answer for the same reasons others have mentioned. As noted in my name, we are transplants to the Carolinas. When we moved here two years ago, we started getting various phone calls looking for Rodney Runyon. Apparently our current phone # was his prior phone #. The initial phone calls were from the actual companies that he stiffed. Now we get the phones from the collection agencies such as this one.

I do wonder what the FFC policy is on this behavior?

The collection call is for a Jamie Swore and they keep calling my cell phone number.

AACC stands for asset acceptance collection company.....in 1998 i had a vehicle repossession and this is the collection agency trying to collect. i do not answer when they call, and have never agreed to pay one penny. Numerous lawyers and bank officials have informed me that by law they only have 7 yrs to collect ANYTHING. after that, they cannot call & harass you. This is per Michigan law. I get letters from them about every quarter, always offering a discount depending on what time of year/season it is....."give yourself the best xmas present ever, and pay your bill, and save 25%"....yah right! or at tax time they say"use your tax refund to pay your bill and put your mind at ease"....again, yah right!

I work at a healthcare facility.. admissions, and I get this crap all day but the first from this number.  It was a recorded call and I waited for an operator to come on and I let her have it. I do not know who she is calling for nor I do NOT appreciate this crap while I am on the PBX system. I asked for a supervisor and wanted our number removed from their system ( so I tried ).  Thank goodness for this site cuz I need to release..... pisses me off
