Not sure who it is but I assume it's the same agency as you all are saying it is.  I have pretty crappy credit so I don't ever answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  This is a brand new one for me, i've only had 2 calls (on my cell phone) to date.  7754124499

Did you know as well as these "Scavengers" who buy these deliquent "bills" tha in most states if a bill is over 3 years old it is UNCOLLECTABLE"!

In Washington state it is 6 years, I keep telling them that they are 2 years past the S.O.L. and they still keep calling

This number called me back to back 1 hour apart 4 times in one day leaving a message once for someone I have never heard of and it did mention it was to collect a debt. The name they were asking for was not me and let them know as much. It seems they will call for a while then not then come back to it again even though they have been told who they say they are trying to reach isnt available at this phone number. Seems a scam of some sort to me. It is all different numbers yet seems they all come from the same call center and all ask for the same thing..

Did not pick up the call so it went to voicemail. The automated message said another person's name and left and 800 number for that person to call.  This like the third time they have called me.

never seen this number in my life - got the call, ignored it, oh and btw, got the call on my cell which is blocked so I never get weird calls, they called and left a voice message of them just breathing and then hanging up!

Is there a way to block this number, so you don't get the calls.  I'm not cell savy.

Got my first call asking someone to call an 800 number . I guess they think we are stupid.

Received a call today from 775-412-4499 at 1:56 p.m.  Today is a Friday.  This was a call to my cell phone.  I don't give out my cell phone number (which I thought was on the 'do not call list') except to family, friends and my doctor.  So as I read this I wonder how they even got my number.  Do they use some sort of random number machine?  In any case, I did not answer the call, it went straight to voice mail and all I heard was a beep, a pause and then they hung up.

I got a from from this exact number. The recording said if this is so and so please press the one key if this is not the person please press the 2 key. I then get transferred with a recording telling me to stay on the line...are you kidding me. I hung up. If they can't figure out their own system why do I need to waste my time and tell them I am not the person they are looking for. I have had the same number for over 3 years and all of a sudden I get all of these collection calls for someone I have never even heard of.

Received call, 'Unavailable'. No message. When I returned call, there was no ID when answering, just, "Hello, this is ...".

I've had similar experiences with these people.  I told them on several occasions that I don't know who they are asking for, remove my number.  Finally the last time I got upset and the "Customer Service Specialist" told me to go pound sand in my [***] and hung up!

This number has called me numerous times, and its starting to make me mad! When they call and I pick up, the robot voice tells me their going to transfer me. I am so tired of these calls. Does anyone know who i can report them to???

They just call and leave their name.  There is no reference to any company.  Just a message saying that it is very important for me to call them back.

I've been getting calls from this company, using several different phone numbers.  They are always looking for some guy who I don't know, and may or may not even exist.  They won't give up, either.

So, about 2 months ago I get a call from these people saying I owned on a Wachovia overdrawn checking account. I explained that I have never had a Wachovia checking account and she said maybe I banked with a bank that was bought out by Wachovia. I said I was unaware of any of the 3 banks I have ever dealt with in the past having been bought out by Wachovia....2 are still in operation,1 had been bought out by BB&T. They said it was my problem to prove the debt is not mine and I countered that they had to prove it was mine since I have never banked with Wachovia.

Well, 2 months later I get a call again....actually my daughter got the call and the guy was very rude, wanted my daughter to give out my contact information but would not say where he was calling from...finally said FNCB but that I would have to explain the rest of the reason for my call. Privacy laws being what they are, he said he couldn't give out any information on the account. My daughter said she didn't want any information on the account, just who her mother was supposed to call back. They asked her for my cell and work numbers and she quoted privacy laws wouldn't allow her to give out that information! Good Girl!

So, I call them, they said something about this debt again and I told the woman that I have never banked with Wachovia and none of the banks I have banked with were bought out by Wachovia so until they could provide proof that this was my debt, (which they are claiming is from 1997!) I told her to stop calling me. She disconnected the call immediately!

National Collection Bureau called me about an account from 2002. These people are completely oblivious to the law because the statute of limitations on collections in California is 4 years! I keep telling them this, and they keep calling. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR STATES LAWS!!! They can be sued for up to 1000.00 for these phone calls!

I recieved a letter from this company claiming that I owed a debt to "Direct TV" of which I have NEVER had service with so I immediatly thought someone frauded my account. I then called the 800 number on the letter but before i did I blocked out my number. The lady who answered said ooooh we are so sorry the letters are an error this from your 2005 "*****" account. We have sent you a new letter and will still honor the settlement."

LONG & BEHOLD! I am receiving harrassing calls from this 775 number which is the same number associated with their company. Now the mind boggling part of it all is that...

a) I blocked my number before I called
b) This cell phone isn't even mine, not registered in my name..its a company phone
c) They are calling my godmothers house as well, yes I said godmother no blood relation, no next of kin, I don't use her for a reference, I only use her on my kids school records!

News Flash First National! this account was created in fraud in 2005 and I can wait it out until its off of my credit...ha!
