- rju| 1 reply7770000001 appears randomly and repeatedly on my bill, many times when I am sleeping. It is billed as data. what is this number?
- Caller: verizon
- CrystalThis number has racked my verizon bill up. Stealling minutes from me. It never called me or tex. I never called it or tx. I was over by my minutes by so much my bill total was a thousand dollars and Verizon wont explain it to me. I think somthing is going on to rip everyone off. It shows up as a data cl number .

- screwed by verizon?this #appears 26 times on my child's phone and it's at times i know she doesn't have her cell she's asleep them and the calls are every minute. This is unacceptable for a major carrier. They need to fix this. NOW. I want out of my contract because of this.
- Caller: verizon
- AJBthis # appears over 70 times on my child's phone bill over the last 3 months. It shows up as a data cl number and usually at times when the phone is not on-late at night or during school hours.
- RobinThis # shows up on my grandchilds phone about 17 times a month on his bill. If I am running low on our plan minutes I am charged .45 for each call. Who is this this? Is there some law against this. If this does not stop we will have to go to Altell. Otherwise we are happy with our service.

- bradyfor the last two months our cell phone bills have been over the roof. i can't begin to tell you the number of calls that match this number. what is going on and why are we being charged for calls and minutes FROM verizon. it is time for someone to look into this. at this point we are seriously thinking of switching carriers if this is not taken care of.
- Ralphwhat verizon does not tell you, is that they bill one minute of airtime for each picture that is sent... you'd tjink unlimited pix/fix would mean no charge... what Verizon explains if your patient with them is that each picture is billed at one minute of air time... listen to their vocie recording and yes they do tell you...your kids are sending lots of pix (that includes gaming pix)
- DanaI have this number on my bill. I go 'online' on my phone and I play games that are downloaded onto my phone but use minutes. That is what it is for... :( I just found out the hard way. I love playing the games and checking the weather and checking the headlines...but it cost me when the bill came this month.
- Mary Jean Huerta777-000-0001 is appearing on my 303-748-1074 cell phone bill and I do not know who it is.... and counting as minutes
- Caller: 777-000-0001
- rachelOk i have read all of the above stated comments. And i have come to the conclusion that it cant be charging for sending pictures... one of my bills had like 50 of that number listed in the same 3 hours. there is no way in hell i sent that many pictures in 3 hours, let alone a day? i maybe send 3 pictures a week, if that. So none of this makes sense and i am assuming verizon is some how scamming?

- vzsuxSecond time it happened to me. Happened 12/06/07 in the wee hours of the morning when only vampires are awake. Racked up $60 in overage minutes. We called them and they said we'd be refunded the money. They said we should take it to a store to have somebody look at the phone. We didn't, we figured that's bs. Then it happened again on 1/09/08 it looks like. Just got the bill today. Now we have to call them up again and beg for money back. This time we'll take it to the store so some pimple faced kid can look at it and tell us there's nothing wrong with it.

- SteveI get a couple of these calls a day, including one at 7 am on Sunday morning that woke us up. Lately it has been leaving fax sounds on voice mail. Pretty strange!
- StephanieMy boyfriend and I get the same number on our bills all the time...It is because my boyfriend likes browsing through ringtones and wallpapaers ALL the time-they charge you airtime for it! As long as you are browsing, they are charging you for every minute just as if you were on the phone talking to someone for that long!
- Dawn1093 times on my bill, all of the calls or whatever they are, made during off-peak hours so no charge but I'm baffled. There are at times two made during one minute but the charge is for a minute for each one. Calling Verizon was about as useful as banging my head on the wall.

- TinaI have this #777-000-0001 on both mine and my daughter's cell phone, Verizon provide too...it has pushed my bill over $500 for this past month. The calls come throught even when the phones were both off!!!!! My daughter has not had her phone for 3 weeks because I thougth she was abusing the minutes. I will be calling verizon in the morning to dispute my bill. This is hideous!!!!

- Curt&CathWe just had the same number show up on our bill this month.
Have 2500 mins and only text each other(free in system, right?).
There is no additional charge on my phone, But Cath's is 48 bucks...not much but come on.......pisses me off!
some show as comming from our town and others show as a town about 50 miles away??? WTF?? - Katie Dunn| 1 replyMy sons account was $500 more than normal this month and this phone number is all over his bill. I have emailed them, but have not heard anything back. I think that all of us who are getting enormous bills from this number being accessed should let Verizon know what we think about it. I let them know that if I have to pay it, I will, but that will be the end of his service through Verizon. I never had this problem with Cingular or other providers. I have had so much trouble with this Verizon account. Yes, I know it could be texting, but according to him, he has not done that much to warrant $500. Give me a BREAK!
- Jinny ParkI'm using verizonwireless and my daughter's account was overage of $70 this month due to the data call from this number. I don't know who own this number. It looks to me that verizonwireless are having some issues with this number.
- ErinI also have this number on my bill. I called Verizon and they said it is the number(7770000001) used when you use a get it now application on your phone. I also asked about this number(0000000086), this is used when you call your voicemail. Hope this helps.
- StanPossible explanation for Tina getting billed for calls from 777-000-0001 even when the phone is off... On my phone, under "Get It Now > Get Going > Mobile IM" I get this warning from Verizon before signing up: "You are about to access the Instant Messenger application. All instant messages and commands sent to and from this application will be in the form of TXT Messages. This means you must be subscribed to TXT Messaging to use the application, and you will be charges for all TXT Messages in accordance with your subscription. NOTE: ONCE YOU SIGN ON TO THE SERVICE, YOU WILL CONTINUE TO RECEIVE MESSAGES UNTIL YOU SEND THE SIGN-OFF COMMAND."
So it's another Verizon gotcha... you have to sign-off Mobile IM or you'll get billed from now until eternity.
