7770000001
Report a phone call from 777-000-0001 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Ann TallardI have 34 pages of this number showing up on my phone bill what is this??
- Ty and JulieWe got the same thing. We were told there was a problem with the billing system's and that our account would be marked with an error and to call back once we got the bill. The bill just came back and is over $500. Now Verizon is trying to say these were data usages (we never use antyhing data related except 30 or so text messages a month) and that they are researching them, but we might have to pay because it is showing up as data usage.

- SCOUT| 2 repliesbeen getting these on my Verizon account also.. got billed for 129 minutes for the 777-000-0001 number. I dont use Mobile Im, Get it Now, or Mobile Web, but I have still been getting charged for this number. I changed my plan and blocked almost all options, if I get charged again Im dropping Verizon
- Hants UKNot sure what to say
number calling is just 0001 but can't find anything out anywhere
Keeps calling but won't answer it except was answered in error today. Not silent but nobody spoke - RachealI think this is Back-up Assistant. Not sure. It's showing on our bill ALL the time but we haven't gotten charged. Then again, we have a HUGE plan, so it hasn't made a dent.
- MikeyJust got off the phone with Verizon and was told after 1 hour of conversation with three people that the Krazor has some type of short or malfunction. This causes the phone to call at random and accumulate this charge. Was told by Verizon that I need to get a refurbished phone to resolve the problem…and of course I must pay for the used/replacement phone.
They did issue a credit of $212.25 for this month….they said I wont see it for at least 2 billing cycles. - DianeThis number routinely shows up on my son's line usage. I've tried to call it to see who answers and it seems to be bogus. Why does this number keep appearing on our bill?

- Mike KerrChecking my bill and this very odd looking number is all over it
- marshathis number is showing up on my bill repeatedly and I have never called it
- Robert SilvasyI don't have a clue who this is, but it appears numerous times on my phone. How do I get rid of it?
- Deborah WickhamI am recieving 8-10calls monthly from this number. Who is it and how do I stop it?
- Matt and CharlotteWe are the owner of this cell phone. My wife Charlotte can not even discuss a bill with verizon without my permission, this is unacceptable to me. However, how can someone else whom I don't know charge my account while my wife and I have never allowed it. We also have a block on our phone and it never stopped the calls to our daughter.

- DCI've had the same problem and have talked to verizon many many times about it. Like others have said, whenever you send/receive a pix message, use get it now or mobile web, download ringtones, etc., your phone is connecting to 777-000-0001. So you're being charged for airtime to make that connection. If your phone is making those data connections when you're not using it (i.e. at 3am), you can have data turned off and it won't be a problem, but then you don't have data!
Also, look to see where the data calls originated from. I found them occurring in cities I had never been to and finally convinced Verizon the person who stole my old phone was still able to use it! (It took three months, but they finally believed me. Stupid verizon) - verizon loverI was checking past bills from about 6 months ago and this number apperared constantly on my bill (in one of the lines anyway) so i went and checkd from them on but it had stopped... My bill back then was pretty high too. i never did bother on checking cause i just figured the other line was just going over their minutes and since i dont really pay for this second line then i never worried about it. Now, from the post i've read here some of you are explaning this number by saying it's data usage... well, I use mobile web every day and not once has this number appeared in MY bill (the recent ones anyway) so I don't see why it would show up in some peoples bill and not in others. Especially when the OTHERS are the one not using much txting and using the mobile web and instant IM. Like I said i txt a whole lot and get on mobile web a lot and instant IM a lot too. and this number is not showing up for me. If it would, i'd be freaking pissed too. So all of you need to step up and get to the bottom of this. This is BS!!!

- RobynMy Husbands cell has numerous, numerous data calls on it every month. The calls look like ping pong on the bill. He swears he never uses the get it now applications. We are not being overcharged like some other comments on here. Verizon swears up and down that my husbands cell is generating data calls thru get it now. some of the calls are at very odd hrs. I have seen his phone lite up by itself without ringing. This means a data call is coming thru.
Calling Verizon is worthless. They will now tell you that they can block the phone from incoming and outgoing calls.
When you ask Verizon if the data calls are coming from AOL, yahoo. or msn they act like they dont know what you are talking about.
DO YOU KNOW THAT PROGRAMS FROM AOL, YAHOO. MSN CAN BE DOWNLOADED TO GET IT NOW FOR FREE IM, TXT AND MOBILE CALLS FROM THE INTERNET TO A CELL PHONE? IF SOMEONE STAYS SIGNED IN THAT CELL COULD BE GENERATING CALLS ALL THE TIME.
All I know is something is very wrong here and Verizon does not want to either clear this up. My cell gets these data calls as well and I know I am not using mobile web. - MaryI also had over 200 from this number on my son's bill. My usual bill of $130 was over $300 because of all the minutes. I called them and was told that it was because he had Vcast and had been browsing videos/music -- I find it hard to believe, but the helpful woman on the phone upped my minutes and back dated it as a courtesy service so that I wasn't over my minutes and thus making my bill only slightly higher. Apparently they are willing to do that and it doesn't change your contract time. Also, if you want to decrease your minutes the next month, you just call them back in a month and are allowed to redo your plan. Also, I had her block any internet access from any of our phones. I was also told that sending pic messages also will be under that number but then you are charged for the time that it takes tot send the picture. So now I am going to send all my pics on the weekend when time is free.
So the end of it was that I still wasn't that happy about the explanaton for the 777 number but the Verizon rep offered me a way to at least not have to pay the bill for it. - TonyThe 777 number is the number that appears whenever you use internet or any kind of downloading appplication for your phone service. Many of the posts here are people claiming that their family members are not using it. Either someone in your family is lying through his/her teeth, or it is possible that your phone number has been hijacked.
