- SammiI forgot to add I don't have internet on my phone (it is blocked) and it happens mostly when I turn my phone on and sometimes when it is not even in use! They are like 6 at a time. Yesterday my dad told me to leave my phone on 24/7 and i have gotten no calls from that number yet I dont think. We tested turning my phone off at a certain in like 2 different days to confirm this and it connects when you turn your phone on too.

- JamesThis number is showing up on my statement repeatedly. Who is this and why is the number on my account. I have not called this number...ever!
- Justice NeededWithin one day, my minutes went up by 926 minutes and verizon is gonna charge me over $400 because of the call from 777-000-0001 (data). I have never received any data and the time of the call was late night, when I was sleeping.

- satThis number comes up on the phone bill when the user of the line has accessed 'Get in Now" of other Web features. I had web access blocked to that phone number.
- Andy O'ConnorThis number has appeared on my bill repeatedly....causing me to be billed extra DESPITE the fact that I have already purchased the UNLIMITED texting package from Verizon....of coarse they are also billing me for calls from/to my home number. Geesh, as if the over $300.00 per month that I already pay them is not enough.
- michael wilcoxThis 777-000-0001 number has been showing up on phone bill..using up my minutes..I have been a long time user of Verizon..How can they do this to us..Everyone needs to speak up..Don't let them do this without an explanation..Why..thinking about changing services..
- StephWow this same things has happened to be and in december it used up well over 400+ or 500 minutes on my phone I had a larger bill than ever plus I have never gone over my minutes in the whole two + years Ive been with verizon. I didn't even realize it until I look at my new bill and saw it coming up again. Sent them an email waiting for a reply
- HenryThe same things to me. I called verizonwireless. They removed the charge and asked me to do the software upgrade (free at store). After the software upgard, the problem still happens. The different is the data call drops from hundreds times to few times.

- BenThis month our bill totolled over $400, the source of this was the "mysterious" 77700000001 number. We were charged for 14 24 hour accesses that verizon says is the Internet but we never accessed it. There's about 214 calls to this number and we have no idea why the number is showing up since we never called it once. My dad just got off the phone with verizon and they offered to add some attachments to our plan that will lower the bill but they won't tell us exactly what it is, except for the fact it has something to do with the Internet.... That doesn't help much because we don't know what was done that involved the Internet. The verizon emplyee is supposed to call us soon to see what she can for sure do... Why is this happening? HELP!!!!
- HenryI believe there is a software bug in verizonwireless server.
When the phone is on, it automatically register the application
to the verizon server. I was asked to perform the software upgrade
at verizon's local store. The Data call drops from hundred times
to few times per day. I finally decided to block the web access
, and then no more data calls.- Caller: 1 777-000-000
- BillyI looked on other discussions about this number and they claim it's the Back Up Assistance. "When it backs up your contacts and syncs, DATA will show up on your bill in form of minutes used." I don't know why we all weren't told about this. I may switch when my contract is up. I don't care whether my address is updated or not...
- NicoleI just called verizon about this number showing repeated on my bill for my daughters cell phone number. She has had her phone line for over a year and this was the first time ever showing over her minutes. She absolutely only uses the phone for calls on the weekends. These charges showing with the 777 000 0001 are for using the get it now application. Even if the button is accidentally pushed or if you're just looking and don't download any music they still charge minimum of 1 minute or the equivalent amount of time you browse as if you were on an actual phone call... After talking to the Verizon Rep. the supervisor was "so kind" as to offer to remove the $59. fee only to add the v-cast fee of $15 for that month, which I have to remember to call and cancel the v-cast service before my next billing cycle ends to avoid another $15. charge... With the economy in the shape it's in, you would think business everywhere would be encouraging and promoting business rather than driving customers away with lowsy service and ridiculous fees for everything! So when my contract expires, I will try yet again another provider till I find one who values customer service!

- MaryIt is really Verizon server bug. For unknown reason, I have a data call when the phone is power on. Therefor, I get one data call in bill everyday. My phone has no any download applications which I can disabled.
There were three days, 1/20-1/21@San Jose, my phone kept trying "searching network".
I was billed for hundreds data call which appeared in every minutes.
I should not responsible for the bad network.- Caller: verizon

I should not responsible for the bad network. - DanielI called Verizon about this problem. SOme say that they get this call even at night and when they know they did not even have the phone turned on.
This is what Verizon said to me. This call is a number they use when a text is sent or recieved to or from this phone. It has to do with whensomeone sends a text with vidio/pictures etc. it will come to your phone even when it is turned off - the time someone sends it to your phone or when you send one of these messages.
Hope that helps you.
I think you can block this type of messages - I didn't check on it. - RobertThese calls are showing up on my Verizon Bill and eating up minutes.
- Caller: No Company
- coralIn the past 3 days, it showed I have called these numbers for over 2400 minutes, it must be a system bug. I didn't use GET IT NOW or send/receive any picture/text message recently. I'll go to Verizon store tomorrow and hope I can get everything fixed.
