I do not answer these calls as they call my cell number which is not published.  It is annoying.  They call every morning at 9:28.

I have had the exact same experience and it's been going on for over two weeks now.

Every time they call, they hang up up when I answer. They will be blocked!

This is a scam don't answer just let the phone ring and let it go to voice mail ...

I got 2 calls from this number back to back.  I don't even have AT&T for anything!!!!

This was AT&T calling to confirm my order and giving me my tracking number.

i keep getting a charge from att for 3 dollars every month what is it

one time i picked up a phone and lady on other line asked somebody, i said she pressed a wrong number, next day i checked a bill and it was $50 off from my phone balance!  they call me every morning around 6 am, 6:30 am!!!!
but i'm tmobile customer! looks like it's just a way to take off you money for that call!
reminds me that trick with prisioners who are calling you from different numbers to take money from your balance.

No one is on the line when I answer the phone.

bill is due in 3 days and they are calling me already for payment they don't know what but I will be cancelling my service this afternoon and going back to Comcast

The term "slamming" came from the ease at which a competitor could switch a customer's service away from AT&T by falsely notifying a telephone company that an AT&T customer had elected to switch to their service.

I receive these calls numerous times a day. The message says it is AT&T regarding Uverse? I don't have AT&T or anything relating to AT&T.

This is really obscene. Twice in a 10 min span of time.

Received a call at 11 pm, did not answer. No messsge left.

Got 4 calls from this number within 10 minutes last night according to the CallerID box.  No message left on any of the calls.  The ID displayed as ATT NOT AT&T.  We have not requested U-verse or purposely made any changes to our very basic landline service in like 10 years so that sceniero is dead.

I would think that IF this was actually AT&T THEY WOULD LEAVE A MESSAGE ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE CALLING ABOUT ie. late bill, or changes/verification of service/install/etc.

Yes we have one of the former Bell companies as our landline provider BUT rarely use it for outgoing calls.  99.99% of all Incoming calls these days are scam calls. It has gotten so bad that we rarely even answer an incoming call unless we actually are expecting a call OR if the caller ACTUALLY leaves a valid voice message on the machine.  SOOOOOOO many hangups and no message calls these days.

TNT guess what guys were asking for my social security number they had none of my information. At first,they last 4 digits of my social,then they needed the whole thing, oh no, I'm not that stupid! So the guy that's laughing at the posts here, I know that you're part of the scam,or else,how and why would you even know to look at this website because you're part of the scam and you're hilarious.

BLOCK, block, block these numbers! This is not AT&T, these people want your information don't fall for it its not them. Why wouldn't they have your information already? Look it up on a  reverse lookup app. It says Spam,where it should say scam! if you call that number  your they're going to ask to verify your information.so you're giving them all your personal information still try and ask you for your last 4 digits of your social then I can't find it I need your whole social security number. so you are giving him your name your address your phone number they still can't find it why? They belong to one of those people search apps and it gives you all the list phone numbers you have it even says AT&T Verizon or whatever happens all your old phone number are listed on there that's how they get your old and possibly  new phone number information.then they will give you another number to call and their part of the scam too, that number is 800 288 2020. they'll give you all the information that you need man you have the wrong department. so I call them first thing out of the lady's mouth is I need your social security number. So you guys go ahead and you're messing with fire do not give out your credit card information or social security number.
