This it was ATT and that I had a install on a date and I did not order this and this is a funny sales call that need to be with my Attorney  .

Have blocked this number on my cell - thank goodness I am not using AT&T for phone service. I do have U-Verse, and do auto pay so it's not bill collectors. I am on the do not call list. I always opt out of any marketing whenever possible. If I have a technical issue, I will call the service provider, so I don't need to be contacted, or reminded, or even asked how the service is doing. AT&T can take a nice fresh whiff. As soon as google fiber is available in my area, I am dumping AT&T as a service provider.

I thought 800 numbers were free plus the fact that I didn't call that number

A $56.00 charge is being taken out of my account and this number is listed. I do not know what this is for.

They call & no response, I hang up. They call again & there is something about U-verse account. I don't use AT&T. This has happened before. WEIRD!

I guess this is AT&T.  At least, everyone else on this website says it's AT&T, and I do have an account with them.  This number calls me once a day and a RoboVoice says "Please hold."  Then nothing happens.  If I stay on the line long enough, the voice says "Please hold" again, but that's it, so now when the Robot calls, I either don't answer or I hang up right away.  It's a little unnerving!

I had a bad chat session so when the survey came up I gave it a neg. report all the way down. Now they want to talk. Funny.

Can you verify that its a ligit AT&T number?   I just receive a call from this number.  I DO NOT have AT&T services.

Of course it is an AT&T number. that does not mean that it is AT&T calling you. numbers can be spoofed to make you think that it is AT&T or someone else calling you. The number in question is 1-800-ATT-2020. It is the number to reach U-verse

Please consider the idea that someone may have given them (that 'incompetent' employee) the wrong cell phone in error when placing an order...imagine not knowing your correct cell number since you do not dial it, or maybe because you just moved and are installing service after you just changed your number?

A little consideration and kindness for human error that happens every day...

This is an AT&T number used for several things...to verify service, automated courtesy reminder your bill is due the next day (imagine that!), follow up from survey responses- so they can improve their service (imagine that!!), or maybe someone else has provided a random cell number that just happens to be yours (really, imagine that!!!).

General business as usual from a company with this phone number registered to them - imagine that unless you are old enough to remember customer service, business calls, and courtesy reminders.

Got a phone from 1-800-288-2020 .....AT&T  I already paid my F**King bill by cashier check....I am paid ahead stop calling me [***] !!  I hate them ...cable sucks , internet is like a slug and if we could get Xfinity where we are at I would change over quicker than a eye blink ......

It`s the right number but the wrong people. These people will add charges to your account.

They keep talking me saying it is AT&T calling me about and appointment I give I don't deal with AT&T I don't have any appointment with them.
