Wow--this is still going on after 3 years of complaints on "Who Calls Me.com"...

I found this blog searching for the company who scammed me using this same method.  This company needs investigated--I can't imagine how much money they have collected from unsuspecting customers.

Here's my scenario and what I did--I hope it helps others:

When I realized there were charges from a BULLROARE on my bill, I called AT&T directly to complain.  They gave me an 800 number to call to investigate the charges--when I tried to contact BULLROARE on these fees, I discovered it was a company called Mobile Subscription Services from Boston, MA, according to the call service who would only gave me an e-mail address to send my compaints.  I could not get the call service to give me any other information.  I could also not find a listing for this company anywhere.  This appeared to be fraud, so I contacted AT&T again to complain further and learned much.

You must request a blocker be put on your phone to prevent these erroneous charges--you will be given a password to use any time you want to download something that you authorize--this will prevent further scamming.

When you contact AT&T be kind but explain you want a refund for every month you did not authorize the service.  If you don't get satisfaction, be sure to explain you will be contacting your local Attorney General's office to file a formal complaint with the consumer protection division--and follow through if you don't get a refund for services you did not authorize.  

It is our responsibility to view our phone bills; however, AT&T or any other carrier has an obligation to ensure their customers are not fraudulently billed for services they did not request and make every effort to correct the problem.    I was able to get a credit of $80 for my losses.

Hope this helps someone else avoid, or at least recoop, charges they did not authorize.

I got a charge for $36.96 with this # ... is this a scam ... i didnot browse anything like what has been said.  Dont have any message received as well ... can someone advise what i shud do?

What company is this? They have been billing me $9.99 on my T-mobile bill for the past 6 months and I just noticed it. Who is running this scam. There must be something people can do to stop this robbery.

I have the same thing happening to me with this bullroare bunch.. Nobody can find out who the con artists are or what they are peddling.. AT&T blocked my phone from these scammers.. The phone number bullroare charged me on was a phone I only use for emergency and how they got it to bill charges to I don't know. They are a stealth scamming operation... How they can operate without being busted is the biggest question of all.

I have also received a $9.99 charge from BULLROARE.  Have sent a support case in to this mblox.com.   The thing is, my phone has been on military suspension due to deployment since September 2010!  I haven't used a CC to pay the bill, as my monthly bill says $0.00 due.   This is probably the main reason I noticed this.   If my phone was active and I were paying a normal monthly bill, it probably would have taken me a while to notice this charge.

Thanks for posting this...I have a $10.81 charge on my bill this month from Bullroare...will call AT&T and put a block on it...these people need to be stopped!...Thanks again!

To all that are getting a charge from Bullroare...I was also getting this charge on a phone number we no longer had...we had the number changed 9/11 and the charges didn't appear until our Nov/Dec bill and when I called AT&T another charge had shown up for Dec/Jan bill...I must say the rep for AT&T was very helpful and credited our account...please check you bills every month...the charges will just keep adding up if you don't...from what i gather there is no way to contact Bullroare by phone, internet, text, etc...good luck to all who come in contact with these scammers!

Call AT&T and explain this...our charge was on a phone number we no longer had...they were very helpful and credited our acct immediately...hope this helps you!

Just got charged $114 and change and this number (8003310500) is the listed number.  Haven't got an AT&T account though.  I just called and found out they charged my son's ATT wireless bill on MY card, which is really odd since I don't have an AT&T account and they've never had my card # before!

Just got a charge from BULLROARE on my Dec. ATT bill. Contacted ATT and they not only removed that charge but also the one just made that would appear on my January bill. Check your bill carefully!

Had a $9.99 charge from Bullroare on my AT&T cell phone for a download purchase. My charges are the same every month so I noticed this immediately on the bill.  AT&T was very nice in crediting my account and then they put a block on the number for me that requires a pin for purchase downloads.  Contributing this information here as others have noted because this web post was extremely helpful.  It was a subscription of some sort that I had not signed up for.  I am reporting this company to the attorney general's office in my state tomorrow.

I also noticed the telephone number contact for Bullroare for 9.99.  Also 9.99 from Worldtxts.com with 800-331-0500 for 9.99.

This bullroare is so bogus!! I can't believe they are allowed to put a $9.99 charge on my bill.  PLEASE, please please monitor your bill.  If you notice this, ask for a FULL refund and the FREE blocker.
