this company is ridiculous, asking me for my information and bank info. First i was about to do it, until it suddenly hit me. I just spoke to my banker an hour ago. Then i kept on speaking to them to gather more information. It is a scam that use one of those untraced sources gathering people information, to make fake credit cards to take your money

I got a call earlier today.  I didn't answer it and came to this site and read that it's fraud.
JUST got another call and I did pick up.  It was cityBank.  THEY verified the last 4 digits of my card and indeed told the truth about my late payment.  The only thing they asked me was my name.  

We are not sure who they are!

We deal direct.

A foreign woman keeps calling me 8 times today alone, asking for my cell phone number and if she can send texts to me.  They won't tell me who they are and want to transfer to a csr.  She tells me that my conversation is being recorded.  I am reporting these people to the National Do Not Call List.

Unwanted call

I keep receiving calls from them and they leave an automated message. In their message, they claim to be Citi and that I need to call back regarding information with my account. I have checked my account online and it is not past due, it is paid in full and there has been no identify theft. If you get a call and you are concerned, call the # on the back of your card instead. THIS IS A SCAM!

I don't even bank with citicard/Citibank and keep getting these calls from 800-388-2200 and it is always a automated message. I get called everyday between 10:30am-10:40am. Enough is enough.

I received a call from this number today. The message was 16 seconds of a man singing.

This number is calling us once a day and not saying anything so we hang up on them.

I get this call 2 x a day 800-388-2200............how do I stop it??????????????????????/

The number is a legit Citibank number, but these people are forging/spoofing that number. I've been getting 3, 4, even 5 calls each day from them for a week or two. I've answered a couple times, and the connection was so poor I couldn't understand the caller.

Got a call from this number. Said they were Citibank, but they hung up.

This is a phishing scam. Do not give them any information.

I thought this number was a scam so I called Citi.. Apparently my online payment didnt go thru, but I'm not sur ethats why I was getting the calls.  i will see what happens after I make payment.  If you do have a Citi account call them directly just to make sure everything is ok
