I got the phone call from represtentative 4 times regarding free gass cards told that person I did not want them since it was only 4 cards and you could only use it 1 coupon at a time. Each time I told them I was not interested that was back in August 2010, they still deducted my debit accoutn which they could only of gotten when I purchased the Magic bullet along with their extended warrany for 3 yrs. I had cancelled it back in 2010 since I never wanted it in the beginning on the phone I stated that, still for over a year now they have gotten money which I never authorized and repeatedly asked to cancelled. I even called my bank, which told me they could not do anything and i had to call them, I have called them many time there is no answer and today again I called ...I got somebody finnaly on the line they addressed me as my aunt Barbra, so when I told them no I am Cheryl and you are still deducting money from my account and for the 12 time I want it stoped, it took her 10 minutes to find me, but still they have me connected as Barbra....which has no affilation at this time with the company.... hmmm could it be because we had told them we did not want it!!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!

this offer was given as a freebie as a reward for an order.  I was told that I would receive an e-mail showing the contract because I might not receive it by mail  in time to verify it.  The e-mail has never arrived but copies of the magazine, "People"have been delivered to my house.  I told the caller that I didn't want any magazines.  She said that I could cancel it using the info in the e-mail.  It didn't arrive.  I believe that the magazine co. is called magazine direct.  I DON'T WANT ANY MAGAZINES, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHICH I CONSIDER TRASH.

    Complaint received, April 7, 2008

    Greetings,

I'm not certain if I'm reporting this to the correct place but I DO want people to be alerted.  This is an internet business that somehow got my information and sent me information via snail-mail, which is how I found out that they had infiltrated my world, so to speak.

    http://www.valueplusonline.com/

This company sells "subscriptions," from what I can tell.  The mail they sent to me alerted me to the fact that they were going to charge my bank account for this "subscription."  I had never heard of them before I got the mail.  I've written to ask them how they got my information but haven't heard back from them yet.  The bottom line is .. somehow this company obtains information on people and charges them.  If you're not alert .. if you don't open your junk mail and see what companies might be doing to you without your knowledge .. you can be charged for junk you never ordered.

Fight back ... I guess that's all we can do.

    Blessings to all.

We advised the consumer to call the company to request a refund and if that fails, to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They have a very good track record of resolving disputes and obtaining refunds for customers.

The complaints logged and are very public; something most companies don't want on the public record. The  BBB complaint form is on this page: https://odr.bbb.org/odrweb/public/GetStarted.aspx  If you get a security announcement, just click OK and then "next" and fill out the form.

You can ALSO file a complaint at www.complaintsboard.com/ That’s a very public form for general business complaints.

As with all fraudulent charges, immediately contact your bank to dispute the fraudulent charge, close the account or block the card number to prevent additional fraud, and follow up with a fraud affidavit.

File fraud complaints with FTC at www.ftc.gov, and at www.ic3.gov

You may also wish to contact the offices of Sen. Jay Rockefeller.  The Senate Commerce Committee held hearings on this type of consumer fraud a couple years back.
