- romzom replies to George Dawson| 2 replieshello. i don't know if you will answer this but i found out who is behind this mvqsavingsace is, there is a site called deep discount. it's a place that sells dvd's real cheap and the shipping is free but they only accept credit cards. well when an order for a dvd is processed, there will be a message somewhere in the sale that offers discounts. well, that discount is added at the deep discount site. don't know if that helps but that's where mvq comes from.
- Sarah Celata replies to Gloriathey scammed me saying i could get free diapers for a year, all i had to do was subscribe to 4 magazines for $4.95/month and a trial fee of $1.95. but i never received anything in the mail, and then in november i got double charged the 1.95 and then also double charged a fee of $24.95 to my account. i called this morning and asked to cancel my account and get my money back, they say they canceled my account, and id have my money back in 3-5 business days and the supervisor after hearing my situation just said, "well thats too bad you just need to go to your local food pantry" (which is closed cause today is a holiday), it was all the money i had till this upcoming tuesday or wednesday when my mom gets back from Florida, and i have no job, im looking into housing and food stamps, cause i am 19 and pregnant and as of right now have no food in my house. i now have no money for groceries and i have so many food allergies that it is nearly impossible for me to get anything from my local food bank. so thanks for scamming me and leaving me with nothing after pretending to be some sort of charity! and Pamela, you're a sick woman for being the supervisor of such a twisted company and refusing to reimburse a women with nothing who by the cant go to her local food pantry do to being on a vegan diet that is also gluten and peanut free cause of all her allergies. you and your company are sick in the heads.
- ticked off in TXI never got a call either, but I have had three charges at $24.95 each. Everytime I call "customer service" I get a differnt recording saying they are closed and listing different hours to call than the last time.
- mammapease| 2 repliesI found a $24.95 charge on my bank statement from SEM Value Plus 800 47519 MN. I checked on it and found that others have had this happen also. I called the 1-800-475-1942 number and got the recording to go to the website. Submitted Cancel request. I don't have a membership number I never even heard of this company. I have sent an email and the cancel request. I had to go online to www.programstop.com to do this. By going to the FAQ at the bottom of the page I was also able to print out the page which is dedicated entirely to cancelling membership and refunds.

- Shawna H.This number called me today saying that if I participated in a 3 question survey about groceries I'd get $1000 saving package good for any grocery store. The lady sounded hispanic and identified herself as Liza Vizon and gave me 1-800-475-1942 to call back to verify. I was only supposed to pay $1 for shipping and processing. SHe sounded like she was talking to me on a cell phone, because it kept cutting in and out. The background noise sounded fishy too. Not quite like a call center, but more like a store. I hung up, I didn't like the way the situation was making my gut feel

- DR JACKIE replies to Betty BraffordMe too. I am really upset and feel foolish. I wrote to Attorney Generals office and filed a complaint, my charge card company is investigating and has had other complaints of course. The BBB won't take a complaint without an address which is impossible to get.
MVQ ace won't answer questions on the phone and refer us to a website-where we need to give information I don't want to give to get off a list I never signed up for. Yikes. - texastulipThey got me too...same thing charges on my debit card that I did not approve! $19.95 taken out twice. I will report this to the BBB, so I hope to get some results...good luck to everyone out there thats been stabbed in the back by these people!

952-258-2131 - kevin| 1 replycharged 24.95 on discover-never authorized or tried subscription or trial offers. Trying to have removed.
- kevin replies to kevin24.95 came up as Pro Value Plus monthly on my card-unauthorized!
- Cheryl Jones replies to mammapeaseThank you for researching the site for us. I was being charged $19.95 a month by Sem value plus, thinking that this was just a monthly fee that my bank charges to my debit card. Of course, I''m not sure how or why this crap all started. I never signed up for a membership and any site that I would order form assures that my transactions were private. No one would be able to have access to my account by all means, I guess someone found a way to sneak in eitherway. :0!
- Ben BThis number has called me numerous times and wants me to keep verifying my card number and personal information... thought i would look it up to find out what i am verifying... looks like im not the only one thinking it is a scam.... so im on my way to the bank to cancel my card.

- James McGuireThis morning I checked my on line bank account and found a debit exactly like the one that occured last month on Dec 15 for 19.95 cents. I called them and they stated that I had authorized the debit. That is an out right lie. To the best of my knowledge I never authorized them to debit my account, and I am overly cautious about who I give information relative to my financial records to. This person who I was talking to is just a stooge, a fall guy paid to cover up the deception. I told them that that debit was to be stopped immediately. They didn't call me. I don't know how they got my information. If it does not discontinue I will contact our US Senator form this fine state of South Dakota who happens to be a close friend and we will see what happens. These people belong in jail. I served in the occupation forces in the islands of the South Pacific at the end of the second world war,and in the Korean War to insure that the Americans the freedom they so deserve not so parasites like these could take the bread and butter of the kitchen table and let the children starve.
