Collect call from an inmate at a correctional facility.

This is a call from GTL LINK, with and important collect call from Prison, please press 1 to accept, 2 to decline. This is urgent.

Same type of message.  A collect call from jail.....I did answer the first time because they had called from a different number 315.866.7830.  I received about 8 calls from this number in less than an hour!  An hour later they called me from the 800-483-8314!!!

Stop Calling my number!!!

I don't know what this is but it came up on my work phone as a "customer service representative".

I've gotten several calls on my cell about an inmate trying to call me collect and I need to go to this website or call this number to set up an account. I worked at a prison and I know it doesn't work this way. It's a scam with a capital S!

I missed a call from this number. Please, help me to identify who tried to call me.

Got a call from Miami jail 305-455-0397,  voice recording said Paul. as I don't know any Paul I assumed wrong number.
15minutes later I get a call from this 800-483-8314.
Global Tel is a political connected 3rd party for the jail/prison profit industry.
This have to change, if you're son/daughter get arrested (some arrests are not lawful) there should not be a problem to reach the outside like it's now and should not cost $$$ and who have landlines now a days?
SOLUTION:
Allow 4 free sms the first day and 2free a day there after, set up a terminal that will add the headline that it comes from jail.

This phone # is for a service used by jails/prisons across the nation for prisoners to call outbound.  It is most likely a friend or relative who is incarcerated.

I don't generally answer these calls and I don't know who it is and I don't want to receive calls from there. It is very annoying.

Keeps calling my phone have not answered

I keep getting calls on my cell from inmates in jail. I never ever give out my cell number! I don't know any of them and want these calls stopped!! I am on the do not call list but they keep calling saying I have collect calls. I don't pay for anyone's calls but my own!!!!! I want these stopped. Inmates have no rights and should not have access to phones or computers. I pay taxes to support them already--that's enough of an insult!

Talk to your Service Provider as soon as you can and get whatever help they can provide.         Many cell phones have the ability to block unwanted calls. What about yours?

Yes, they keep calling again and again.  I wish there was some way to tell them  they need Jesus. That reminder would keep them from wanting to hear it every time they dial....

I received a call from this phone number but didn't answer it and no message was left.

They called me and claimed there calling from the Delaware county jail.

I'm trying to find out what jail my mom is in because none of the police, court system and/or etc. Can find her but I keep getting calls from this number saying that and inmate was trying to call me but it doesn't say from what jail... I was hoping maybe it can be tract back to find out where exactly is she calling from so I can have her info and bit money in for her and etc.. Please help asap
