this tactic will work especially well for those that don't have accounts with countrywide.

I never gave my ssn or driver's license number, or said anything when I realized this number was trying to get my information, and that it wasn't about a home loan at all.

It all stopped for good when I complained to the FCC here. Stop answering to this call, press ignore on your cell phone, save the voice mails in order to report the time and day of calls below,a nd use those on your recevied calls. This person must be the dumbest, fricken loan support specialist to ever have worked for BofA if they are legit. Report their scam to get your ID here:

It was getting so bad with their calls - interrupting my own phone calls, calling right as I walk inside my home, and basically, trailing me electronically, that I almost bought myself a gun, prepared to fight off - within legalities - a group of criminals. This number had me so angry, confused, and frightened.

For one thing, I have never taken out a home loan in my life or owned a home, and I go through all this crap with this 800 number over someone elses default on a loan.

This number just called me- 18006690102 and said that they were calling regarding a debt collection from bank of america.. they immediately asked for either an account number or social security and home address.  Anyway, never gave them any information and now realize that they are not real!  CRAZY!

Company will not stop calling my cell phone

Received several calls from these folks with, "a please hold for important message" and then it disconnects.  could be country wide or B of A.  Considering both of their track records financially, i refuse to speak with them until they have a live body call me and provide information on the spot, why they are calling, and if there is an issue. They have to be polite. I'm more than happy to work with them from that point.  

I've asked them for help in the past when my partner was unemployed and they were horrible.  Far as I am concerned they get what they give.

Am so sick and tired of these annoying calls.  So we posters post our messages here.  What is being done about it?  Are our comments being reported?  To whom?  Please take this to a higher step, I am.

These people call me about 5 times a day and im not exaderating. They say that their bank of america and they asked for my parents and said my moms name wrong. would your bank say your name wrong? no. idk what they want but i want them to stop!

We keep getting calls from  that number and they ask for social security number in order to identify you. We have repeatedly asked them to stop calling and they continue.

Everyday I receive several phone calls from the number 1(800) 669-0102 starting at 8:00 A.M. until about 8:45 P.M.  They never leave a message so I called back to see who is calling and the recording says that it is from BALC Mortgage Company with Bank of America who is servicing my home loan.  I don't have a home loan.  I live in an apartment and I do not have any business with Bank of America.  These calls are annoying and harassing and I am tired of it.  Someone please stop them.

Receive calls every few hours day and night from this number, no one answers or leaves a message.

I'm  getting official looking emails from Bank of America (if you think noreply.bankofamerica.com is really BofA) telling me to call this #, urgent about my loan. Probably scam trying to get account and password info. Block this number and above email address.

They have called 3 times asking for someone who doesn't live here. I was polite twice and now they've got me steamed. Three times I've asked them to not call, I'm on the do not call list, how can I get them to stop? Anyone know?

way too many calls AFTER I let them know they are dialing the wrong number at all hours of the day and night!

we have had calls for months and they just dont care that they are dialing the wrong number. I am on the 1800 do not call list but i dont think it's works for "wrong numbers". FDCPA 15USC 1692D does not apply to wrong numbers either. So I have now filed a complaint with the FCC and hope you and others do the same.

I got a call from this telephone identifying the company as Bank of America home loan. Unfortunately,I have never had a home loan with Bank of America and WOULD NEVER USE B OF A for any home loan product. I have lived in rented space for the past 9 years. I ignored the call !!!

I have accounts with the Bank of America.  I e-mailed the bank, and their reply implied it was from them.  I've asked to remove our number from their list.  They say they will not contact us again by phone even if our mortgage account gets delinquent.  (They will still notify us in writing when our mortgage account is delinquent.)

I just got a call from this number stating it was Bank of America- I have nothing with them and when I wouldn't give him my social he hung up- I called back andit was again B of Am. on the recording

I get calls 1-2x a day on my cell phone with no messages from this number.  I have an attorney handling my foreclosure and the attorney has sent my power of attorney to BOA.  BOA even sent me a letter they acknowledged my attorney.  Hmm, but they still call me directly??  Think I have a valid complaint?

I answered the phone to this number and they asked for my parents. I told them she was in the shower and didn't give them any info, should i be worried? can anything happen by me answering?
They said Bank Of America (which is our bank) was calling, not countrywide.
